The bell rings, finally saying its the weekend. The only problem is my struggle isn't over yet. Megan demands me to go 'Dress Shopping' with her.

Kill.

Me.

Now.

Yeah, I'm a girl. I love clothes, makeup, jewelry, etc., but I will forever hate shopping, and dresses.

I only like the tight dresses you wear to clubs.

"Hailey, come on," Megan yells, already waiting by my car.

I groan as Kyle gives me a hug.

"Don't worry, I'm sure I will see you later. I have to go Tux shopping tonight," he tells me.

I give him a kiss.

"Dress shopping is worse, trust me," I tell him before catching up to Megan.

"Are we going to the mall?" I ask, driving away from the hell hole.

"Duh! Why wouldn't we?" She exclaims.

I groan even louder as I drive.

"Why the mall? Anywhere else?" I ask. She laughs.

"Come on, it won't kill you," she tells me. "God, slow down."

Let's just say we reach the mall faster than she thought.

She drags me straight to a dress store called Midnight Beauty, which is totally too fancy for me.

I feel so out of place in jeans and a sweatshirt. All of the employees wear suits and ties.

My hands run over fabrics, looking at all of the dresses. Megan already has a pile of about ten dresses, while I have none.

"Any yet?" She asks, a couple rows down.

"No," I answer, looking down at a dress.

It's a silky blue, strapless. The sweetheart cut would look good on me. Small diamonds cover the chest, making it look like stars.

"That's pretty," an employee says behind me. I look behind me to see a lady with red hair, her eyes a carmel.

"Can you put this in a dressing room for me?" I ask, after a second of thinking. She nods, carrying it off.

After about ten more minutes of looking, I find two more dresses I like.

I sit down on one the the brown couches and watch as Megan tries her's on.

"That one is beautiful on you," I comment. She looks at herself in the three-way mirror.

The dress is a bold red color. It has one strap that comes over her right shoulder. The bottom of the dress sweeps the floor.

"I think I'm going to buy this one," she mutters to herself. She twirls the end of her hair, thinking hard.

"Danny will like it," I tease, knowing she is going with Danny.

She blushes when she faces me.

"Think so?" I nod. "Okay, I will get this one. While I change out of this, you can get into your first one."

I sigh and get up off the couch. Locking the dressing room door behind me, I look at my dresses. I grab the silver one first.

Slipping it over my skin, I feel goosebumps appear on my skin. The dress has a straight neck line. It's a high-low dress, the the front is shorter than the back. Which I like because it shows off my legs.

"I'm ready whenever you are," I hear Megan call.

Unlocking the door, I walk out. Megan's face turns up into a huge smile.

"That is beautiful!" She exclaims.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I bite my lip. The dress is really pretty. I just don't know if it's my style.

"I'm going to try another one on," I answer.

As soon as I slip the dress off, I grab the blue one. The silky material feels so good on my skin. Zipping up the zipper, I smile. It fits.

Walking out, I smile at Megan.

"Oh. My. God," she says. "If you don't win Prom Queen, that dress will."

I laugh, looking in the mirror. The dress is amazing. It fits my curves and my hips perfectly.

Turning around, I smile.

"This is the one."
