I'm glad this horrid day is over. I don't think I could handle any more 'new girl' stares and whispers.

Pulling out my phone from my purse and see I have a notification from Instagram.  It says:

New follower- Kyle Carlson.

You have be joking. You really have to be joking. That boy thinks he can play me.

"I hate life," I mumble as I reach my car. Looking up, I see a blonde haired boy, sitting on the hood of my baby.

"What the hell? Get off of my car!" I yell, making the boy jump. He blushes and stands up.

"Sorry," I hear him mumble. "I just wanted to see who owed this beauty." His voice is low, but kind.

I'm about to come back with some smart-ass comment, but I stop myself.

"I'm Hailey," I say, after throwing my bag in the seat.

The guy smiles at me, showing his perfectly white teeth.

"I'm Zach," he says, flashing his blue eyes at me. I bite my lip.

"You want a ride?" I offer, flirting. Zach smiles even wider.

"Yeah, I would love to." Zach hops in shotgun while I start my baby. The gentle purr fills my ears.

"Hold on," I say. Zooming out of the parking lot, I get lots of mean glares from cheerleaders. One I flip off, just for fun.

After getting on the road, I speed off, making Zach laugh.

"You are going to get pulled over," he says, trying to hide his fear.

"No I'm not. Relax and have fun," I answer, looking at my speed. Only 65 miles per hour. It's not that bad.

"Damn, Hailey," he mutters as I pull into the parking lot of an ice cream shop. I smirk.

"Having fun?" I ask. He laughs as we get out of the car.

"I swear you are the first girl that I have met that loves driving fast," Zach says, following me up to the building.

I bite my lip and flip my bangs out of my face.

"Yeah, I'm not like a lot of girls," I flirt. Zach bites the corner of his cheek and sits down across the table from me.

"Hailey! Zach!" A voice shouts. Looking up, I see him.

Kyle.

This is starting to get creepy. Is he following me now?

Zach stands up and greets his friend. I smile kindly at Kyle, trying to act nice. If it wasn't for me trying to act nice, I would slap him. I mean you got to keep a guy on his toes.

"You know each other?" Zach asks, as soon as Kyle sits down next to me. I feel the urge to scoot over, but I don't dare move.

Kyle licks his lips, his eyes flicking to my face.

"Yeah, we are science partners," he answers.

My body tenses up when Kyle drapes his arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah," I sadly agree.

"I'm going to go get some ice cream. You want some Hailey?" Zach asks, not even looking at his friend. I flash the cutest smile I have.

"Yeah, thank you."

When he is gone, Kyle leans in, his lips brushing my ear.

"You can't run from me," he whispers. He's trying to scare me.

"I'm not a like other girls you know. I have standards," I shoot, scooting away from him.

He scoots closer to me, our knees touching. "Wanna know what I think? I think you're scared of me because you know you want me."

I actually laugh right in his face. "In your dreams superstar. I would rather fuck a cactus than ever want you."

He smirks. "Then have me over. Prove me wrong if you're so sure of yourself."

Just like the selfish bitch I am, I answer, "Fine superstar. Come on over."

Just like that, I knew what game he was playing.
