"The New Boy" status is getting to be pretty lame. Everywhere I go, people are talking about the "New Boy".

"Does he have a girlfriend?"

"God he is hot!"

"Should I ask for his number?"

Can someone shoot me now?

Kyle walks by my side, holding onto my hand. If it wasn't for him, I would lunge at the next person who brought up Adrian.

"You okay?" Kyle asks, as we walk into lunch.

"No," I mutter.

I sit down at our normal table with his friends, but instead of sitting next to me, Kyle sits across from me.

All of a sudden, I see Adrian black hair sit down beside me.

I groan.

"I don't think you should sit there," Kyle warns, his knee touching mine. "She is barely holding restraint as it is."

"She wouldn't punch me," Adrain practically taunts.

My right foot kicks out, hitting his ankle. He moans.

"You have no idea what I can do," I spit.

"Hey Hailey," the coldest voice says from above.

Looking up, I see Zach's eyes staring down at me.

I fake smile. "Hello."

He chuckles, taking the spot next to Kyle.

"I see you and the new boy became-" He starts.

I cut Zach off. "Shut the hell up. I'm about two seconds from punching the shit out of both of you."

Adrian laughs, making both Kyle and I glare at him.

"Like you could take me," he says, the glimmer in his brown eyes taunting me.

"You want to bet?" I ask, not looking at Kyle's look.

Adrian rolls his eyes. "I'm sure you couldn't take me."

"You're on. Be in the back of the school in ten minutes asshole," I spit, walking off.

I will kick the shit out of him. With all the fucking anger and crap, he has no idea what I can do.

"Hailey!" I hear Kyle yell after me.

I turn around, my hands on my hips. "What?"

"What the hell are you thinking?" Kyle asks.

"I'm thinking its time for some fucking pay back for all the pain he caused me. That's what I'm thinking," I spit.

"Hailey, you know I have complete faith in you, but..." Kyle trails off, not wanting to finish the rest of his sentence.

"But he is a guy, and I'm a girl. He has been in many fights, I have been in four. Yeah, I get it," I sigh, running my fingers through my hair.

I hate it when other people are right.

"Do you know how to fight?" Kyle asks, leaning up against the wall now.

"Well, I have been in four fights and have won all four. So yes, I do."

"For some reason, I'm guessing against girls?"

I can't help but laugh. "Yes," I answer.

"Guys are different. Girls, their strikes are fast, one after another. Guys have powerful blows, but most aren't that fast. I'll be there, if you need hel-" Kyle cuts cut off by my glare.

"I won't need help," I say.

Kyle just smiles. "You won't. But I will still be there."
