"So, why are you going?", Harlan asked Sally.

"Need to find my brother", Sally answered him.

"He at the camp", Harlan said.

"Yep, he was coming. Though I think he vanished", Sally said.

"A lot of campers and counsellors do that here. Besides, the idea that you need to go there is bad; you don't need to go", Harlan said.

"But I go to know; I just need to know", Sally said.

"I know that feeling. You try and do a job; you try and find a loved one because you worry about them; you worry until you feel that there's hope; there's hope that you can find him or her. And you know, deep in your heart, that you can't save anyone. And, to me, that's a tragedy. Camp Crystal Lake, or "Camp Blood", is called so because its history is full of it. So, please, go home and be with your family", Harlan pleaded.

"My family's dead. I don't have anyone that likes me, being a hitchhiker and all. I just want a job at the camp and do good for the World", Sally said.

"Then work at the Diner. It's got good food and is safe", Harlan said.

"That's a great idea", Sally said.

        He stopped at the crossroads.

        "Half way", Sally said.

"Yep, half way. Now, head north to the camp. But beware: Jason Voorhees is near here...and he's angry after what happened last year". Harlan said. He smiled. "Good luck!". He added. Sally got out and Harlan drove away into town, leaving her to walk alone, as darkness came to Camp Crystal Lake....
