Dax was in his study. Well, it had been in THE HEAD CAMP COUNSELLOR'S CABIN. Inside, a lamp illumed the room. Its light flickered, as he turned his laptop on. He waited it to boot, then typed in his password. After several minutes, he smiled. His secret bank account was growing...Dax was rich. The $1 milllon dollars at the camp was, according to him, quote, "An investment in the future of US camps", unquote....

Dax grew up poor. His parents, James and Cindy, 55, were nice people. They were working in magazines and newspapers. Now they were in the Crystal Lake Retirement Villa, a place for retired married couples in town....In short, Dax grew up with the idea that money would solve his issues. He was an average student at Crystal Lake High School; he wasn't popular in the late 1990's, early 00's. He checked the NYSE and Wall Street stocks online, as he surfed the Internet. He drank black colored coffee, and ate two pieces of beanut putter on toast. Dax saw his stocks rise. He smiled for the first time that night.

        By 7:00 PM, he knew that he was going to be happy. The Sheriff had dealt with the Jason Voorhees issue, and he was going to leave the camp scot free. He took a long, deep breath. Then he sipped more coffee, and wondered why Jill wasn't answering her cell phone....
