..."Jason doesn't exist" Cassie said.

She smiled at Sally and headed outside towards the lake. Sally shook her head. It's your own funeral; it's your own death, she thought to herself. But she didn't utter those words; she closed her mind, not uttering a word-because, if she did, Brad would kick her out of his vacation home. And she didn't want that to happen.

Cassie didn't believe in Jason Voorhees. She focused her attention to the lake. It drew her in. Because of her ignorance, she got undressed. She threw her bra, panties, and other items, that was on the water's edge. Cassie heard the sound of rustling. Leaves dropped slowly to the soft ground. Not  many leaves-but just enough leaves. She waded in the freezing water; she waded slowly. And she was ignorant of the fact that Jason Voorhees drowned in the same lake in 1957. She swam around. Then, to her horror, she saw a boy coming towards her. "HELP ME! HELP ME! HELP ME!", the boy pleaded. His cold, numbing hands and fingers grabbed her neck in a deathly grip...and squeezed until her neck broke from the intense, violent actions.

Cassie's limp body floated into the dark depths of Camp Crystal Lake. Her first, and last meeting, with the spirit of Jason Voorhees, ended in her death.

The death curse of Friday the 13th claimed its next victim.
