The Old Man was drunk. He had been an Old Timer since 1972. Despite his age, that being 88, he knew that the idea of the recklessness displayed by Crazy Ralph, was the subject of fun. Yet, he was serious; dead serious. Old Ralph grew up in Pittsburgh. Then he travelled with The Old Man decades later to Crystal Lake, spouting The Lord's Word, to the young, disaffected youth, whose freedoms was drained away by Rock Music and Satan's work. The Lord's Work needed work. And, to him, the Lord needed new people to turn people to His work.
He drank a beer.
Memories of a lost time filled his head; forgotten memories. He heard the sound of footsteps; loud footsteps.
And, as he saw a dark figure in the woods, he shivered.
"Jason! It's alright. They won't hurt you now....", The Old Man said. Jason Voorhees shifted his head-he grunted. In his right hand was a machete.
Jason Voorhees looked at the Old Man, who knew his family. He finished his beer and threw it in the trash. Jason vanished. The Old Man was scared. The specter of Camp Crystal Lake caused him to shiver. The death curse was real-because everyone ignored The Lord's teachings. And, as a consequence, violent retribution was made upon the young. And, to the Lord's ways, they didn't learn. God was the Word at Crystal Lake. And anyone who abuses the Lord, shall suffer the wrath of Pamela Sue Voorhees....And, after her death in 1979, her son continued the Lord's work of killing the youthful sinners in town; the camp; and other places....
The Old Man then headed to his home near the outskirts of Crystal Lake, glad to survive the wrath of Jason Voorhees.
But, for others, this Friday the 13th, wouldn't be so lucky.
