Martin was near the lake.
He looked at the water.
The rain was freezing. He saw the moon. It gleamed with an eerie glow; it gleamed right into the middle of the black colored lake.
Martin shivered.
Must be the nerves, he thought to himself. He then made a decision. He got undressed and waded in the water.
Once in it, he swam faster and faster.
Soon, Martin was warm. But it was a temporary warmth. His blood flowed as he kicked his legs. He was close to the bridge; close to the edge, near Camp Crystal Lake itself.
Martin continued swimming...
...Then he saw a figure by the bridge....
