(Kenzie's pov)
Maybe I could have saved him.. Poor jay.. he.. I tried but I was only 10 when this happened.
Now I'm 14..
I'm with a Group we are called C.A.K.E.. I had abandoned my friends in PIE. I couldn't stand it I had to.. I had to bring him to CAKES city.
They had a lot of medicines and food water all the things you need to survive. If I brought him to PIE.. it would have been worse. So I took every bit of Courage I had and went on the long journey to CAKES village.
That day.. I remember it so clearly..
FLASHBACK!
I watched as the zombies surrounded me and Jay. I stared in fear not knowing what to do.
He jumped forwards protecting me. The zombies attacked him biting him. I stared in fear shock and horror. Everything..
He jumped away from them as he smashed its head in. He grabbed my hand pulling me with him. I held his hand tightly staring at the bite on his arm.
"Yo-your arm.." I stuttered afraid to lose my best friend. Well crush.. as well
He passed out and I stared worried and scared. I pulled him towards the base where cake was.
"I'm sorry P.I.E.. To save him I'm bringing him to people that might have a chance to help him.." I mumbled as we arrived at the giant gate.
They let us in and took him to a medic. I followed sticking by him.
They wouldn't let me follow so I sat right outside the door until I heard crashing and yelling. I opened it and seen my best friend as a zombie killing a nurse.
"Jay.." I mumbled. I grabbed a gun pointing it at him.
I shook not being able to move until he began walking towards me. I quickly shot the gun as he fell. I sat on the ground next to the zombie he had become.
Why..
FLASHBACK OVER
Now I stay with C.A.K.E they gave me a pistol and a katana.
Our gate fell down as P.I.E entered the place holding guns.
"K-Kenzie!" Maddy yelled staring at me.
I held my gun pointing it at them. No old feelings.. no feelings at all.. there's no point no purpose anymore..
Jason walked closer towards me. I pulled the trigger shooting Jason in the head.
"JASON!" Maddy cried running towards him and crying.
Tony and Lexi pointed there guns at me.
I won't die because Jay told me not to die.. he told me to fight.. before he promised not to die.. but I won't break the promise I made him..
I shot lexi killed her as Sebastian and maddy cried over Jason.
Tony stared in shock but I killed him to.
I walked towards maddy and Sebastian.
"P.I.E.. you don't belong here.." I said holding my katana. I sliced Maddy's head off as I stared at Sebastian. Jonas ran in holding a gun.
"Easy! MacKenzie!" Jonas yelled.
I sighed as I put my gun up and shot him. I don't belong in the world.. nobody does anymore but I have to live.. they are putting my life in danger.. I stared at Sebastian as he backed away.
"Get out" I said.
He ran away looking back tears in his eyes but he kept running.
I'm sorry.. I.. never mind
Gabbie came behind me.
"MacKenzie goo-" she was cut off by me turning around slicing at her throat. She hit the ground as people surrounded me.
Jenna pointed her knife at me.
I pointed my gun towards her and pulled the trigger. I quickly sliced through davids body. He fell and hit the ground.
I glared at the others who were staring in shock at the girl who basically just snapped.
Julie shot at me and I dodged shooting her in the head. Taylor ran towards me as I cut her throat with the katana.
I ran away from them I into the woods. I killed zombies as I ran by.
There's no going back I'm alone now.. I guess I'll got to the last place I was happy with Jay..
I ran to my old house. I stared at it as I walked inside looking around. The door was broken the house was dirty. I walked down the hall into my living room. I stared at the once blue carpet to the blood stained one. I walked past the living room into my bedroom. I seen my pictures were destroyed. My tv hanging off the wall by a few wires.
I laid down onto my bed I took a deep breath before pulling out a picture of Jay. I looked around the house before finding some super glue.
I took the picture and glued it onto my chest.
I took my gun pointing it at my head. I closed my eyes before pulling the trigger.
It's over finally it's over..
Sebastian's pov!
Kenzie.. she killed them all.. what happened to her. I haven't stopped running since she told me to get out.
I'm sorry I shouldn't have let her and Jay go alone.. Jay was her trigger. If anything happened to him she would worry.. why did maddy and Jason have to die.. even jonas he's dead.. why oh god why! I'm alone I'm gonna die all alone without my friends.. maybe I'll find Kenzie again.. maybe she will be back to normal and we can all be happy again maybe just maybe she will save me from this darkness that this once beautiful world has become.
I ran and ran not seeing anything...
It's gonna be over.. it's over...
