Out Of Time

(Maddie's Pov)

I stared at my hands my eyes wide and gull of fear. A few people were picked.. too participate. . In a hunger games sort of thing. Over a hundred people maybe?

Well me and my friends were picked. There were teams of 4.

MacKenzie.
Jason.
Sebastian.
Me.

I was scared. We got to pick weapons at the beginning before it started.

I grabbed a knife and a bow.
Jason grabbed a sword and a knife.
Sebastian grabbed a knife and a sword.
Kenzie had two katanas and a knife.

"WHOEVER SURVIVES WILL GET A PRIZE OF $100,000,00!" A man yelled an evil smile on his face.

"YOU WILL HUNT FOR FOOD AND SUPPLIES! THERE WILL BE ITEMS DROPPED FOR YOU AROUND THE FENCED IN AREA!" He said as everyone stood in a crowd waiting.

"What do we do.." I whispered as I looked around. I seen a few familiar faces.. I seen jake.. jay.. Abbigail! No! I can't.. only one team survives..

"OH.. and if you lose.. we will kill your entire family." He said as my eyes widened. No! This isn't right! We shouldn't have to kill people this way!

I looked down seeing a ring on my finger. My sweet Jason.. we were supposed to get married..

I looked over at Kenzie seeing her messing around with her ring. Jay.. of course. Its a shame! We shouldn't have to do this! MacKenzie..

Maddie's ring-

"I hope.. we can survive this.." I whispered as Jason put an arm on my shoulder.

"GO!" The man yelled as we all took off u to the forest. People already killing each other.

I looked down as I heard screams. "NOT MY DAUGHTER! PLEASE SIR NO!" A woman screamed as I heard a cry of pain. I stared forwards as Jason gripped my hand tightly.

All of a sudden a man jumped out of the bushes  tackling me ripping me away from Jason. I screamed tears in my eyes as 3 other people surrounded us. Kenzie pulled out her katanas slicing the guy in half. My eyes widened as tears slipped down my face. Blood splattering onto my face as Kenzie stared at the people around us.
