(Maddie's Pov!)
I jumped forwards hitting the wooden katana against Mackenzies. I gasped as she slid under me kicking me in the back throwing me forwards.
"What the heck! How did you do that!" I complained standing up shakily. I brushed the dirt off of myself watching MacKenzie.
"You left an opening." She said shortly staring into the sky. All of a sudden jack landed down transforming into his human form.
"MacKenzie. Emily sent me this message for you." Jack spoke handing MacKenzie a letter.
MacKenzie reached out grabbing the letter. As she read her eyes widened but she kept an emotionless look.
(Mackenzie's Pov!)
(-Letter-)
Dear, MacKenzie
I want to settle things between us. Only a battle to the death will solve my internal conflicts.. so I want you to meet me tonight at the church where you left. It's very run down now so it will be the perfect place for us to fight in peace. I want to see you there.. it will finally be time for us to solve everything. I know you want to clear things up now. It's slowly killing us and you know that. We were the only ones who could make each other smile. You were the only one who knew who I really was. I'll see you soon... big sister..

I looked up from the letter at Maddie who was currently giving me a questioning look. "It's nothing important. She's just saying she'll find us.. but I doubt that." I lied but Maddie seemed to buy it.
"Well let's get back to training! I have to be ready to fight this time!" Maddie said cheerfully as I nodded giving jack back the letter who walked over to a rock nearby and sat down watching us train.
(TIME-SKIP!)
I carefully walked out going towards the church.. where it all started..
(-Flashbacks-)
"You have to be the strongest! I won't raise failures!" Our mother screamed bending down looking into my eyes.
I stood perfectly still not wanting to provoke her. Emily looked over slightly worried but I gently held her hand trying to keep her calm.
"I want you to kill each other. Whoever wins gets to be mommy's favorite.. and you'll live to be the strongest soldier.. then you'll join the army." My mother spoke handing us both knives.
"W-what! You can't be serious!" Emily stuttered out her eyes wide and full of fear.
"Don't talk back to me!" Mother screamed raising her hand smacking Emily across the face. My eyes widened the wind blowing my hair around the cold making me shiver a little.
On instinct I leaped forwards stabbing mother in the back. She let out a loud scream falling forwards landing on all fours.
She looked over her shoulder an angry look on her face. I held the knife in my cold small hands the blood dripping onto the ground.
"You LITTLE BRAT!" She yelled as I heard Emily's soft cries. This set me off making me kick her across the ground.
I felt like I had no control over my body. It was as if I was being controlled but it felt right. I felt a power going through my body that I had never felt before.
