Kenzie's pov)

I had a demon side. It wasn't normal I could control it sometimes.. but other times it wanted to kill. I'm not sure how I got this.. I just had it and I used it. I killed people as a hunter for a man. He was a drug dealer and when people didn't do as he said.. I was the one who was chosen to kill them..

I was only 12 when he kidnaped me. He used me for my demon side. Then.. I didn't follow his orders.. he killed my mother and father..

I then had a window of escape. I left and I never came back. He hunted for people and wanted to kill anything dear to me.

I made a friend her name was maddy. She had a brother his name was Jay. The man I worked for wanted this boy because.. he had demon powers but didn't know how to use them. Maddy asked me to help and that's what I did. I took them to a safe place where the man couldn't find them.

This mans name was Mr. Suka. He was an evil person his real name was Sebastian.

The thing is.. I never told maddy how much I loved her brother.. I was protecting him because I cared for him not because she asked me to.

Today I was walking around the place calmly. I seen Jay sitting down on the ground.

I walked over putting my hand in his shoulder.

"What ya thinking about bub?" I asked him looking down.

I was a year older than him and a little taller. Only a little though...

"About your demon form.. can I ask a few questions?" He asked me looking up.

I nodded with a small smile.
