Abandonment

(Sebastian's pov)

"Maddie!" I yelled as she was pulled away from us. "MADDIE!!" Jason screamed as an army surrounded us.

"We have to go after her!" MacKenzie said glaring as she held her katana. "We can't!" Jay said.

"Maddie!" I yelled as a man swung his sword at me. MacKenzie jumped in front of me blocking the attack.

"MacKenzie!" I yelled as she fell to the ground. A cut across her face blood pouring down her face.

I heard Maddie screaming as I seen her getting pulled away. "No.." I whispered.

"KENZIE!" Jay screamed as he killed the man in front of me.

"We have to retreat!" Jason said. Maddie screamed and cried. I couldn't see her anymore.. there were too many people..

"RETREAT!" I screamed as jay picked MacKenzie up putting his sword on his back.

Time-skip

MacKenzie was on the bed a bandage on her face. "Fuck! Why the hell did you let us go! We left her!" MacKenzie screamed. She stood up slowly grabbing her katana from her bedside. She grabbed the handle pulling the cover off showing the blade.

She pointed it towards my face glaring at me. "You fucking bastard!" She yelled as I backed up in fear. "Back down!" I said.

"Your not the one to be giving me orders.. I'm the one who has the katana." She said holding the katana tightly.

"Maddie's been kidnapped because of you! It's all your fault!" MacKenzie yelled as I fell to the floor letting a few tears slip down my face. They fell to the wood floor as everyone walked in staring at the scene playing out in front of them.

"I'm.. sorry.. I couldn't do anything.. it was all of us or.. only one.." I mumbled feeling like a total ass.. I'm sorry maddie.. if things were different maybe I would have had a chance to save you..

"You fucker!" MacKenzie said lowering her katana putting it back in its cover.

"Your lucky." She said looking over at everyone.

"Kenzie!" A soft voice said. I looked up seeing em running towards Kenzie.

"I'm so glad your okay!" Em said hugging Kenzie tightly.

Kenzie didn't say anything she just patted Em's head. "How will we go on.. without Maddie.." Jason mumbled.

"We will have to split up jobs now.." I said.

"Okay." Kenzie said.

"MacKenzie and em will go hunting."
"I'll clean clothes."
"Jay and Jason will supply us with arrows."
"MacKenzie and em will cook."
"And that's pretty much all.. oh and we will all be taking shifts guarding the base." I said as they nodded.

"Listen.. I know this might hurt us.. but I'm going out.. to find someone to replace Maddie." I said as Jason stared at me his eyes wide.

"Each one of you will have to train them.. in the skills you've learned.." I said.

"Mackenzies speed."
"Ems concentration."
"Jason's quick thinking."
"Jays strength.."
"And my cooperation."

"Fine." MacKenzie said as she walked out of the room. "Em! Let's go! Time to hunt." Mackenzie said as em nodded rushing after her.

(A MONTH LATER)

"Okay! Everyone this is our new Member! His name is William!" I said as William stepped forwards staring at everyone.
