(Flashback before military!)
I walked with my friends my normal sarcastic attitude funny comments all that good stuff. Our village was pretty safe! No trouble nobody really did anything here it was small and safe. My dad taught me how to fight I probably didn't need it I was strong enough without serious fighting techniques!
I was with my friend Maddy. Well.. she was like a sister to me her parents gave her away and left her in the woods so we found her and let her stay with us! Now we are really close! Maddy and I were running down the sidewalk looking for Sebastian! I seen three older boys beating him up. One kicked him in the face as Sebastian fell to the ground. "Fight back!" One yelled as Sebastian growled lowly. "No! I won't sink to your level!" Sebastian screamed as they kicked him in the face. "Hey! Leave him alone!" Maddy yelled as the older boys laughed at Maddy not afraid of her.
I glared at them as one jumped backwards. I beat them up before... the other two are new... I walked forwards as one went to shove Maddy. He grabbed her by the neck pushing her against the stone wall. I glared at him as I grabbed his wrist squeezing tightly as I twisted it making him let go of Maddy. I shoved him to the ground as his friend ran at me grabbing my hair. I kneed him in the stomach as he fell backwards hitting the ground. "Maddy! Are you okay!" I asked as I helped her up. "What about you Sebastian?" I asked him too as he nodded standing up brushing himself off. Jay and Jason ran over to us checking on us. "Guys! What happened?" Jason asked as Maddy explained everything to him. We all sat and talked for awhile about things we'd want to do when we got older. "I wanna join the Military!" I said as everyone stared at me. "But! Your so nice you could kill anyone!" Jason said as I gave him a death glare. "Nah she could do it.. she's beat me up once... for something.." jay said as he trailed off at the end. I giggled a little as Maddy shook her head. It was peaceful just sitting here talking... it was quiet..
A loud explosion pulled me out of my thoughts. I jumped up as gun shots were heard. Cannons and other loud terrifying things! "We have to get home! We have to check on our parents!" Maddy said as she took off running. "Maddy!" I yelled chasing after her making sure she was safe. I've always been protective of my little sister.
I ran after her seeing our house. A cannon was in front of it as a man stood above my Mom. He swung his sword slicing her head off. My eyes widened as Maddy screamed. Tears fell down her face as I stared at the body of my mother. I looked to the side seeing our house... it was broken.. my father was crushed under the rubble. "Dad.. Mom.." I mumbled as the tall man grabbed Maddy by the neck. "Aw such a cute little bitch.." The man said as Maddy grasped at his hand clawing and smacking. A small knife was on the ground... it was my fathers.. I grabbed it shaking as I stared at him.. your nothing! I screamed loudly stabbing into his back making him drop Maddy. Tears were streaming down my face now as I kept stabbing. Maddy breathed heavily as she cried not able to move. All that matters is that we escape!
I grabbed her arm pulling her towards the escape boats... it would take us to the next village.
I held onto the knife wiping the blood off of it. "Father.." I mumble as I shook my head not able to process what just happened. I seen Sebastian Jason and jay sitting on the boat. I ran to the boats sitting by them looking at the ground. Jay had blood on his face as Sebastian shook violently. Jason didn't move his stared forwards as the boat began moving. I shivered as I realized I was in a light blue dress. It was short.. and didn't keep me very warm.. jay seen this and put a dark blue scarf around me. Jason seen Maddy shivering and gave her his scarf... (yo what's with guys having scarves..)
