(MacKenzie's Pov!)
The puppets rushed forwards moving abnormally. Tyler laughed slightly standing behind his entire army of puppets.
Maddie sliced into a one of the puppets. Blood splashed everywhere as the head of the puppet fell to the ground.
Maddie sighed in relief and went to walk past it but the body continued to stand. "What the heck!" Maddie gasped staring at the person who kept moving even though their head was gone.
"Haha! It will take more than that! Slice and stab them all you want but they won't die!" Tyler said waving his finger in disapproval.
"What do we do?" Sebastian yelled trying to fend off the puppets. "The more puppets he has.. the slower his reaction time! That goes to my advantage!" I yelled grabbing my katana tightly with both hands. I ran forwards jumping over puppets. I used their heads to push forwards.
"Emily cover her!" Jason said as Emily nodded pushing the puppets away from me and keeping their attention on her instead.
I landed next to Tyler while he was staring off at Sebastian and Emily fighting the puppets.
I swung forwards causing him to dodge. He slide across the ground with a smirk. "Imagine if I didn't use any puppets! I'd be unstoppable. My reflexes are amazing." He spoke with a little laugh.
I looked over his shoulder to see a girl standing there. Her eyes were orange...
He raised his katana causing a huge wolf to crawl out of the ground. "Hey wolfo go assist the rest of them." He ordered as the wolf ran towards Jason. The wolf has glowing orange eyes that seemed to have no sense of life in them.
I jumped forwards hitting against his katana. He pushed back as hard as he could making me lose my footing. I nearly fell but I caught myself jumping into the air towards his back. I brought my katana down towards him.
He looked over his shoulder with a wide smile. He spun around blocking upwards. My katana met his with a great force.
I jumped backwards landing in front of him. Instantly I rushed forwards going for another attack. I swung my katana at his stomach but he dodged to the side.
"Miracle is my special friend. She's got my back.. she's always with me... she protects me.." Tyler spoke as I slide across the ground watching miracle stare at me hatred in her eyes.
"You.. killed her.." I muttered. Miracle worked for the empire and she was a guard who walked around the perimeter.
"She wouldn't let me leave! She called me a traitor! I couldn't let her live! And now she's my puppet. Just like you will be." He said pointing his katana towards my face.
Miracle jumped forwards out of nowhere shocking me to the ground. I stared up at her my eyes wide. "Go on. Kill her." Tyler ordered as miracle pointed her spear at my face.
She raised her arm slightly preparing to bring it down. My body froze up I could only stare at them.
"KENZIE!" Emily shouted slicing miracles arm off. She slid across the ground landing next to me with an angry look.
"This isn't like you MacKenzie! You never split up from the group like this." Emily said as Tyler stared in anger.
"Miracle!.. How dare you! You'll pay for hurting my friends!" He shouted jumping towards Emily.
