I am one to think
on wishes I make
on dandelions,
birthday candles,
or fallen eyelashes.
I do not take them lightly.
I do not think I ever have.Simplicity.
It is one thing I yearn for
but cannot embrace.
Not simplicity as in everything
is easy and simple.
I enjoy complex things
and people. What would this world be without complexity?
I mean simplicity as a mindset
with much less worry.
This, accompanied by someone who shows me I can trust them with great ease.Someone who shows me
the type of simplicity
that is understanding
what I need with ease.A mutual understanding
of why I need to be given
something to follow
and the type of respect
that comes along with.
Both directions. If I am given this simplicity
the one who lays it upon me
should never need
question my devotion.
