show a semblance
of requited feelings,
but matched mine.
We still have yet
to go on the trips together
that we've been dreaming of
our entire lives.
You will finally be by my side.

Although,
ever since birth it has been yours.

That is something
I will have to get used to
because I've never
been given a piece
of someone that I've loved.
I promise I will take care of it
for the rest of my days.
