Lines are blurred.

Superstars are just people.
This is blurred by human perception.

The sun and stars are burning rocks,
but to some they are more than this.
They are concepts and feelings
with different meanings.
Blurred lines between a deep meaning
and just an object.

Infatuation is human perception.
With lack of a perception
of a person creating desire,
this person would be no different from
the others in the eyes of the infatuated.

In love, lines are blurred.
Again, it is only a person.
The human mind picks out the
little unique pieces in that person
in order to perceive them as different
than others and to grow feelings.
Feelings based off of how we have
perceived that person to be.
It is blurry between the extraordinary
and the ordinary.

You and I are blurred.
My mind has stolen a view of you
that feels impossible to remove.
You are too nice and it is good,
but it makes everything so blurry.
I can no longer see you
as just like the others.
You are much more unique.
You are blurry,
just as infatuation and love are.
It is in a similar way.

We are blurry, yet everything feels clear.
Like this clicked into place.
I wonder if that is why I smile
with tears in my eyes at you sometimes.
It gets so terribly sad.
You make things glow and sometimes
I forget to remember that
you will only be a friend.
You make this feel okay, though.

The human perception blurs things
and I believe it to be the origin
of everything this world
is meant to stand for.
