And there she was again, screaming and shouting absurd things to your best friend of 13 years, whom you also had a crush on. Zach had been with her for three months, he had fallen for her but she didn't love him the way he thought. Every night ended up in a fight, and it made you and the other boys not just annoyed but frustrated that Zach wouldn't just end things with her.
"Maybe if he wasn't so caught up in her world he'd realise the person who legitimately loves him is right under his nose." Jack sighed, eating his chips.
"Y/N, we know it upsets you too, you don't have to pretend you're okay with it." Daniel reassured you, giving you a hug.
"He'll learn." You mumbled, taking a seat next to Corbyn while he played the Xbox. There was a few minutes more of screaming, before Barbie ending up stomping down the stairs and slamming the front door.
"Same routine, different day. All the damn time." Corbyn groaned, handing you over a remote so you could play with him. Zach eventually came down the stairs, this time with a more upset look on his face then usual.
"We're done. I finished things for good this time." Zach admitted quietly, heading to sit next to you, but you put your feet in the way so he couldn't and he shot you a confused look.
"You say that everyday Zach, as much as we love you, this is getting boring." Jack told him straight up.
"There is someone right now, desperate to wrap their arms around you, be there for you and be the best girlfriend. You keep going back to the girl who breaks your heart." Jonah said, running a finger through his hair.
"Bro she's literally right under your nose and you have no idea." Daniel told him, making it extremely obvious.
"I highly doubt it." Zach groaned, resting his head in his hands. You gritted your teeth together, bottling your annoyance.
"I don't." Corbyn said bluntly with his eyes fixed on the screen.
"Who is it?" Zach asked dumbfounded. That was the breaking point for you to go off on one.
"It's me Zach." You stood up quickly. Everyone faced you with wide eyes, not expecting you to admit it so quickly.
"What?" He questioned.
"I'm the one in love with you. I've been in love with you for so long. And every time you argued with little miss barbie, I had to keep it together because all I wanted to do was help you and I couldn't. I just couldn't." Your voice cracked at the end before you ran up the stairs.
"All I ever wanted was you." You kept whispering as you slid down the bathroom door.
