A/N I MET THE BOYS AGAIN THE OTHER DAY. I WENT TO TWO SHOWS AND IM SO UPSET ITS OVER

We'd eaten dinner and it was way less awkward than what you'd thought, now the two of you were strolling along the beach.

"It's been a while since we did something like this." Jack said and you hummed in response. The two of you both sat together on the rocks.

"I've missed you Y/N." Jack continued.

"The feelings mutual." You replied, looking out at the ocean.

"I feel like such an idiot. I know everything I did and said was stupid." He admitted. You looked up at him.

"It wouldn't have worked anyway. Nothing was good Jack. We were arguing, the rest of the management team weren't that supportive, it just went downhill." You told him.

"Y/N we've been together - we'd been together for so long. We shouldn't have let that break us." He sighed.

"I know." You mumbled.

"I'm sorry for doing this to you. I'm so sorry. I never knew how much I loved and needed you until you were gone." He grabbed your hand.

"What about that Gabbie girl? Aren't you like head over heals in love with her?" You raised an eyebrow and he frantically shook his head.

"Y/N, that whole situation, is management based. You wouldn't have known that because you're not apart of the team anymore. I shouldn't be telling you this, but I love you too much to let you slip through my fingers again." He informed you.

"As much as I want to fall into your arms, I can't have my heart broken again, and again, and again. Then there's the video, so many people know what really went down, I don't think our relationship can just come back." You played with your fingers - a nervous habit.

"That's the thing Y/N, you don't think. It's about whether you know. We were perfect up until things got patchy. We ran from our problems instead of facing them." He tucked a hair behind your ear.

"I need you in my life." He whispered.

"Like limelight?" You snickered, clearly ruining the moment.

"Way to go Y/N." He laughed.

"I guess we could try and start again, because starting new is always better then finishing forever." You admitted.

"I couldn't agree more."
