"Whoever thought the idea of camping was a good idea, is a loser." Zach groaned, wrapping the blanket around him as it grew colder.
"Bro, we're camping in our backyard, you still have WiFi." Daniel laughed. As everyone had a clear schedule for the next few days, you thought it would be call to sleep underneath the stars. The boys had even ordered fake tree stumps so you could all sit down. Corbyn had taken the liberty of trying to light a fire, and he did it.
"I'm tired, night guys." Jonah said, getting up and going into one of the tents. You only had two tents, so what was decided was that you and Corbyn got a tent and the others had to share.
"I highly doubt you guys are gonna last all night in a tent." You told the remaining boys while Corbyn had his arm draped around your shoulder and snuggling even more into the blanket.
"You're probably right about that one." Jack smiled, cooking his marshmallow over the little campfire. Next up to go to bed was Zach and then Daniel, leaving just you, Corbyn and Jack.
"With all the city lights and the stars, this is such a peaceful night." You mumbled, resting your head onto Corbyn's shoulder.
"I agree, it's almost as gorgeous as you." He teased making you playfully slap him. Jack finished off his final marshmallow and then went to bed. Then it was just you and your boyfriend.
"Nearly one year ago, we were stood in this same exact spot, and I asked you to be my girlfriend." Corbyn grinned at himself, not believing that you had stuck by his side and loved him for so long.
"And almost one year ago that has soon as you said you loved me, my brother swung you over his shoulder and slammed you into the pool." You laughed, the memory clear in your mind.
"So much has happened in just a year Y/N, it's insane" He whispered. Corbyn was usually a lot less hyper at this time of night and he'd always talk to you about the crazy things that had been happening in his life.
"I know, and look at you now. Mr I'm going on tour soon and releasing an album in the next few months that might get me an international tour." You chuckled, taking one of Jacks marshmallows from his packet.
"That's a very long name to have. It's gonna be weird not having you there with me for all those months though Y/N." Corbyn's face turned sad, and you knew it was time to tell him.
"Who said you weren't gonna have to put up with me?" You smirked, and his eyes widened.
"You're not serious." He whisper-shouted, not wanting to wake the boys up.
"Surprise." You smiled, and he pulled you into a kiss.
"Best. Surprise. Ever." He said in between kisses.
