Zach Herron - Walking Away Part 2

You pulled over into the McDonald's car park. You didn't want to annoy your best friend with anymore drama over your "boyfriend" so you just sat and ate comfort food.

"We are never, ever, ever, getting back together." The radio sang. You glared at the mini-screen and switched the channel.

"Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you." You huffed, giving up.

"I only say it cause I really mean it." Your phone began ringing. You placed your drink in the cup holder and this time it was Zach, who had been falling non-stop for an hour, it was Corbyn.

"I knew you'd answer me." He spoke.

"Please don't." You sighed.

"Y/N, you two need each-other. No, I don't agree that what he has done is right because you were the one who gave up your education and life to be in California with him. So go home and be with him. He's on a loose end." Corbyn announced. He was right - as always.

"Thank-you Corbs." You lightly smiled.

"You're so welcome." After the phone call you drove back to your shared house. He must've seen your car pull into the driveway because the front door swung open almost immediately.

"Y/N." He began, unsure of whether to come near you or to stay put.

"You're an asshole." You said while locking your car.

"But you're my asshole." You finished off. He followed you inside and your jaw-dropped when you saw the movie setup in the living room.

"You didn't have to do this you know?" You asked him, shuffling into the fort he had made.

"After being an ignorant boyfriend, a couple of movies was the least I could do." He admitted.

"I'm willingly let you chose the movies." He finished off, making you laugh slightly. Of course you were going to watch Shark Tale first, it was your favourite movie.

"I'm sorry for walking out earlier, you must've been really worried." You sighed.

"Don't be silly Y/N, I was the one who nearly ruined it all. I'm sorry." He apologised. You both leant in and shared a long awaited kiss.

"I've missed this." You sighed. He nodded in agreement, wrapping his arms around you.

"I love you so much Zach." You whispered.

"I love you too Y/N."
