Throughout the night, you had been awake with your dog, as she gave birth to her puppies. Daniel had stayed up to see the second puppy but you were there till the end. Usually all the puppies are out within a few hours, but you could tell whether your dog was just feeling poorly or actually ready to have them, and it was both.

"Well done girl." You cooed, letting out a huge yawn considering you had pulled an all nighter. You checked your phone.

7:30am

Daniel was usually an early bird anyway so you expected him to come in any second now. The vet told you that there was only four puppies but you were shocked when our came 8 of them. You had messaged your vet too let her know, and she was going to be at your house at 10.

"Is she okay?" You heads Daniel whisper from the door of the living room. You nodded and ushered him over.

"There's way more then four?" His eyes widened while he counted.

"We have eight boxer dog puppies babe." You rested your head on his shoulder, still admiring the gorgeous sight in front of you

"What are we gonna do with all of them?" He asked, stroking your oldest dog in comfort. This was the first time you had ever experience a dog birth.

"Ummm." You mumbled, not really wanting to sell any of them.

"You're seriously thinking about keeping all of them?" Daniel asked once again.

"Babe, you've asked an awful lot of questions this morning. I haven't even been to sleep yet. I don't want to get rid of any of them, but it's not fair if they all stay." You frowned.

"I mean keeping half of them isn't a bad idea, at least you get some of them Y/N." Daniel told you.

"I know Corbyn and Christina want two of them for when they move into their house in a couple of days." You immediately texted them.

"Two more to go, chose your puppies wisely. Go get some sleep, I'll stay with them." Daniel kissed your cheek.

"No, I need to stay and wait for the vet to get here." You yawned again.

"Fine, be stubborn." He wrapped his arms around you and you laid on the fluffy cushions you had placed on the floor.

"We have four girls and four boys." You told Daniel, your eyes slowly closing.

"We've gotta keep some of the boys babe, we haven't had a boy yet. Oh my god, we get to name even more puppies, I'm so excited." He screeched but soon silencing when he saw you asleep with light snores escaping your mouth.

"My little dog lover." He kissed your forehead.
