If you thought five hours was long, five goddamn months were worse. Especially since your daughter was a daddy's girl. You had gotten pregnant with Daniels baby at just seventeen, but the amount of support the both of you received was incredible. He had to go on tour, for five months, but you couldn't go meaning you were on your own, looking after your baby. He was coming back in a few weeks.
"Right baby, lets get you changed so we can go and see nana, pops and auntie Anna." You took her out of her highchair and she began screaming and crying. That was the start to a bad day.
"Calm down, you're gonna make yourself sick." You cooed, quickly changing her. She crawled over to you and rested her head on your shoulder, small hiccups coming out of her mouth and little tears cascading down her cheeks.
"Dada." She whispered, before crying again. Your heart broke, you knew she loved you, but even you were upset over Daniel not being there.
"Let's go." You mumbled, resting her on your hip and going back downstairs. Considering Daniel's family were in California and were only a little distance away, you decided to walk. You placed your daughter into her stroller, which only made her cry more. You didn't know what to do, but to call Daniel. Tears pooled in your eyes while your daughter continued breaking down.
"Hey baby...what's wrong?" Daniel asked, panicked at your emotional state. Your daughter immediately stopped crying when she heard her dad.
"All day, she hasn't stopped crying for you. She misses you Dani, I miss you." You cried, wiping the tears under your eyes. His heart cracked in half, he hated when you were upset.
"It's okay Y/N, don't cry okay? You're okay, she's okay. I'm home in a couple of weeks, you're such a strong mom." Daniel reassured you.
"Dadadada." Your daughter babbled, making you smile. You handed her the face-time call and her face lit up when she saw him.
"Hey baby." He grinned, she began kissing your phone.
"Giving daddy love huh?" You asked her, only to receive giggles.
"Listen baby girl, you've gotta calm down for mommy, she's trying her hardest. I know you don't understand a word I'm saying but be good okay?" Daniel asked her, and she nodded her head, you were just praying this call would keep her calm until he was home.
"Are you still going to see mom?" Daniel asked, you took the phone off of her and nodded.
"We were just about to leave." You told him, standing up and grabbing your house keys.
"Well remember, if things get really bad, I'll be on the first flight home. Now go and have a good time with everyone." Daniel told you.
"I will, I love you Seavey." You smiled, blowing him a kiss.
"I love you to, and our little monkey." He smiled and blew a kiss back before ending the phone call. Your daughter ended up falling asleep, so you took the liberty of speed-walking with the stroller to Anna and the others, before she woke up again.
