"It's okay, I mean I haven't been sat here for two hours waiting for him." You told your friend through the phone. Zach had promised to come over but once again didn't show up. It was the fifth time he had done this.
"Y/N how can you say that? Calculate the amount of hours you've been waiting for him all together and then tell me it's okay." She sighed.
"Well when you put it like that." You heard keys through the front door.
"I think he's home, I'll talk to you later." We exchanged goodbyes and you put the phone down.
"Babe?" Zach called out. You didn't answer him. Your eyes were glued on the television but you weren't paying attention to what was on.
"Babe I called you." Zach laughed, finding you on the couch and trying to kiss you, but you dodged it.
"And I waited for you." You crossed your arms over your chest. He didn't think you were being serious but when he realised you were, the smirk disappeared from his face.
"Don't be like this please. I'm sorry." It was like de ja vu.
"You've said that every single day. I get you have a band, an image and an album to make, but you also have a girlfriend, who once again may I remind you, left everything behind to make sure she was with you everyday." You reminded him, pointing a finger.
"You apologise every time but you continue to do it. You're hurting me Zach. I hardly even see you anymore. Living here was clearly..." You stopped yourself as you saw hurt flash in his eyes, but you were angry so you continued.
"A huge mistake." You whispered. Your car keys were on the coffee table and you grabbed them.
"Y/N don't walk away, please, we can talk about this. I won't go to the studio tomorrow, we can do whatever you like." He grabbed your other hand.
"I'm not letting you ruin your career. Who do you think I am? I never want to get in the way, which is why I stay back here. But now it just seems that everything but me, matters." You let go of his hand and walked out the door.
"Y/N please!" He shouted, running after you. You weren't ending things, you just needed time to clear your head. You pulled out of the driveway and headed to your best friends house, while Zach sat with tears in his eyes and held his phone to his ear.
"Bro, it's Zach. I think I just lost Y/N for good."
