Teala's POV

"These are some pretty dope socks," I say, crunching on some Doritos.

"They are. Plus, we match so," Gray replies, eyes still on the movie ahead of us.

Sitting in my bed watching Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Grayson and I happily munched on our chips, the time almost being around ten.

It doesn't even feel like me and Gray are dating now. I mean yeah, we kiss now. But other than that, it's been the same. There's nothing awkward about the relationship and I'm so happy it isn't.

Turning to my left, I admire Grayson's being. He's wearing a wife beater, since he had taken off the flannel that covered his muscular arms. He had on gray jeans earlier, but had probably gotten uncomfortable and threw on some gray shorts.

His hair was combed up perfectly when he got here, but now most of the brown locks fell against his forehead; just that way I like it.

I watched as he clenched and unclenched his jaw, probably doing it without trying to.

Every once in a while, we would smile and that angelic laugh would exit his mouth, probably over all the sexual jokes said within the movie.

Even if I weren't dating Grayson, I would still be so lucky to have such a precious human in my life.

Now becoming restless of watching Grayson, I groan. "I'm bored."

"I thought we were watching the movie?" He says, turning towards me with furrowed eyebrows. He pulls me closer to him and I scoot, laying my head on his arm.

"Yeah, but I've seen it a million times. Plus, we could play another game."

He chuckles. "We aren't five Teala, we already play like ten million games a week!"

"Don't offend me and my child at heart self," I say, slumping into his shoulder more.

Grayson rubs my back, watching as my lip poked out in sorrow.

"Awwweee is the little baby gonna cry?"

"Shut up, I'm trying to sulk."

Gray laughs again except this time he pauses the movie.

"Okay, well instead of playing a game, we should go buy you a pet!"

I quickly turn to him in confusion. A pet?

"How is that the same as playing a game?"

"If you have a pet, you won't be so lonely! Plus, it's just fun to have one around.

I still look at him like he's an idiot because of how randomly he came up with that.

"What pet store is open?"

"They all close at 10:30... and it's only 9:30! Come on let's buy you a pet!" He whines.

I roll my eyes. "You taking half of this bill because I already know it's gonna be hella expensive."

He scoffs. "Didn't expect anything else."

I giggle. "Okay fine, lets go get a pet."

"Yay!"

-

"So many options!" I exclaim, running past all of the pets in their habitats.

There are hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, birds, turtles, snakes, and so much more!

How am I ever gonna be able to choose one?!

"OOH! Get a turtle so then you can name it Squirt," Grayson suggests.
