Chapter 15

"Asuma tells me there is something urgent that you need to tell us," Sarutobi said, coming in, no laughter on his face looking serious.
"Shikamaru, you had the best view of things, well other than Kuroki and he is in no way ready to speak" Ino said gently, taking the water off me while I was fighting to stay awake and conscious.
"Go to sleep Kuroki we will deal with it, you work way too hard" Choji said as he hugged me, Shikamaru patted my head and Ino kissed my forehead before I laid down on the couch and slipped into the endless abyss known as sleep.
"When in the forest of death we were attacked by a grass ninja, we didn't think about it really but Kuroki realised what was happening. He used a Doton jutsu to stop the power futon jutsu from getting to us. We realised he was in no way a genin level or even chunin" Ino started.
"He moved fast and ended up behind us on the tree we jumped into so we jumped down before we realised he summoned an animal" Choji continued.
"Again it was Kuroki that put all the pieces together and realised it was a snake summoning and the only one that summons snakes other than Anko is-" Shikamaru said. "Orochimaru" Asuma and Sarutobi cut off, making them nod.
"He was after Kuroki something about testing him before going after Sasuke, I don't remember much more. I was knocked out" Choji said looking down, upset that he was no help to his teammates.
"I ended up down with my legs trapped under the rocks but no damage," Shikamaru said, clenching his hand.
"I was dazed from hitting a tree but I tried to stop Orochimaru so he tried to strangle me but then Kuroki....He changed" Ino whispered.
"Kuroki let out a pure blast of chakra. We actually saw the chakra, his eyes changed and he used a doton, futon, suiton, raiton and katon jutsu one after the other. He completely depleted his chakra but I think most of it left with the large blast and changing his eyes. They were weird" Shikamaru finished and the two adults.
"We will send ANUBU's out to search for Orochimaru but knowing him he is long gone, you don't need to worry, just relax and recover, you still have three more days to rest" Sarutobi told them and they nodded as the two adults left.
"Should we have told them about the seal that Kuroki got rid of?" Ino asked, looking at the two boys.
"No, because they wouldn't believe us, not only that they would want to isolate Kuroki, so we keep that between us now. Lets get some sleep" Shikamaru suggested and they nodded agreeing as they went to the bedrooms leaving me to sleep on the couch.
