When I woke in the morning my body was still sore but I knew it would be worse if I didn't move around so I got up stretching hearing my bones and joints crack before I headed into what was the bathroom and took a shower. After that I headed to the lounge room to move the furniture to do stretches and basic meditation making sure that seal didn't tamper with anything.
"How are you feeling?" Ino enquired and I realised she had fixed her hair up now so it was a little above shoulder length now.
"I'm feeling much better now, sorry about yesterday" I said and she shrugged.
"Shikamaru and Choji are still asleep, they will sleep for a while," Ino told me, joining me in my stretches.
"I'm going to head out and check my chakra, I want to make sure that nothing has changed" I decided and she nodded watching me go.
"He always works too much" Asuma sighed as he walked into the room and she nodded.
"Yeah guess your right sensei but then again it wouldn't be Kuroki if he didn't over work" Ino chucked.

Soon enough the days passed by with me taking it easy, only doing some meditation and making sure that my mind was fine, that the seal was always gone and my chakra was recovering.
"Hey Kuroki come on it's time for the next exam" Ino called and I nodded walking down to the room that everyone was gathered in now.
"Since there are so many people that got through we will be having another test before the last test, also if anyone wants to back out do so now before the Hokage speaks" Anko announced. After a few people spoke up about dropping out, the Hokage stepped up and went on with a speech about how the chunin exams were held in place of war and such on. I zoned out half way through. It wasn't like me not to listen to a lecture like this but I was still angry at myself, how could I have let that snake bastard get the drop on me? How could I have let him hurt my friends?
"Oi Kuroki the first match is starting" a voice called, making me snap out of it and nodded following Sakura up the stairs to where we would wait and watch. The first match was Sasuke a Vs a sound ninja, they were battling it out until Sasuke finally won, getting cheers and such from those watching. Next was Naruto Vs Kiba, Naruto managed to wipe him out with a rather strange tactic but I guess anything works. Then Sakura and Ino fought each other ending in a tie making me sigh a little, Ino had been holding back a bit for her old friend. Shikamaru was against a sound ninja and won by outsmarting her. Choji was against another sound ninja but sadly he lost his round but now it was my turn.

"Kuroki of the leaf VS Neji Hyuuga" Hayate called, he was watching over the matches.
"You should just give in Kuroki, fate has declared me the winner," Neji said, getting into his fighting style as Hayate told us to start.
"You should know by now Neji that I don't listen to fate" I said before grabbing a kunai out and rushing towards him only to jump over his head making Neji turn and get ready to use the Hyuuga style taijutsu on me but I was faster then he thought dodging the hits that he threw at me. When I realised he was going faster and also stronger, I put my hand up and grabbed his hands before placing my hand on his stomach as well before throwing him over my shoulder, making him surprised.
"Right got it" I said, turning around and grabbed the really thin but strong wires and yanked them. Neji was now trapped in the middle not able to move as his arms, legs and chest were all tangled in the wires.
"How did you-?" Neji started to question.
"While I was jumping around and dodging your hits I was throwing out kunai knives with my other hand. They are now stuck in the trees or the ground, each one holding a wire that was small and unnoticeable making me able to stop you in your tracks once you got in the right position" I explained.
"I would have been able to see the kunai," Neji fumed.
"No because as soon as I threw one I would throw a kunai at you with the other hand distracting you, give in or I will be forced to knock you out" I warned.
"Ha like you could," Neji taunted me and I rolled my eyes. He may be sort of a friend but he could really be a jerk sometimes. Grabbing the wires stronger I yanked it towards me making him be pulled towards me so I put my head back before bringing it forward straight into his making him let out a cry before I also punched him in the guts and he was knocked out.
"Winner Kuroki" Hayate announced and everyone was silent.
"When did he" whispered someone.
"I never saw," whispered another.
"Good" whispered another before I ignored them, taking the wire off Neji and collecting my ninja supplies. I also saw Gai, Tenten and Lee looking at me in shock and disappointment, making my gut clench. Did they expect me to let Neji win? I ignored the looks I was getting as I headed up to Asuma and Shikamaru the others were in the hospital.
"Couldn't you have been a little bit softer? I'm not picking on how you did it, I just wanted to know why" Asuma explained looking at me.
"Not really I needed to outsmart him, I knew in a taijutsu battle I would never win so I did what I had to do. After all I am a ninja, we don't play by the rules. I'm going to check on the others" I decided and they nodded as I left for the hospital, visiting Choji and Ino leaving some flowers and gifts for them. I also talked about my win even though they were still sleeping, I just wanted to talk to someone that wouldn't judge me, I knew that Asuma and Shikamaru wouldn't but I just wanted to talk with no one talking back.

When I was walking out of the rooms I saw a doctor go running pass with Lee in a hospital bed.
'I shouldn't.....Damn it' I thought to myself before racing after them.
"What happened?" I asked, looking at the doctor.
"Look kid" the doctor started.
"What happened?" I demanded tying my plait up in a bun and looking Lee over.
"Are you a medic nin?" the doctor enquired.
"Something like that" I said and he explained about Gaara and his sand crushing Lee's leg and arm.
"Okay I need a drip and some blood he is O+ also I need to make sure no one else uses chakra in this room" I said and they nodded as I grabbed a scalpel and cut the tight green jumpsuit off glad he was wearing underwear as I took it away from the wounds hooking the drip up with a sedative making sure that Lee would stay asleep and also hooked up the blood.
'I haven't done this jutsu before but I have studied it enough and if it works that will be good' I thought in my head letting a breath out before my hands started to glow a grass green and I focused on spreading it onto Lee's injuries. Even as pain shot thru me like a bullet I continued pumping chakra into the wounds sweat breaking out on my face and dripping down but I didn't do anything continuing until I was sure that the injuries were healed.
"He should be all healed for now, the bones will have to be repaired but all other damage has been repaired including the muscle, tendons and other injuries. The bones have to regrow normally. It will only take about a month. The jutsu I used will speed them up, he is not to wear weights or train for a month" I instructed and they nodded, taking notes. "Will you inform the sensei?" the doctor asked and I shook my head.
"No that jutsu took a lot out of me.....I would much like it if me being here was kept a secret, take credit for the surgery yourself" I said and the doctor opened his mouth before stopping.
"They wouldn't believe you because you're not a medic ninja, are you?" the doctor stated and I shrugged but nodded.
"Not by name, I am learning medic ninjutsu. I just happened to know that jutsu," I said before waving and jumping out the window and heading to my apartment.

Arriving there I finally let out a cry and dropped to the ground curling up as tears ran down my face. The jutsu I used was known as the healing transfer jutsu, while it would always heal any injury the user of the jutsu had to go threw the same pain as the patient. The pain was physcological so I wasn't actually hurt but the pain was excruciating. I had found the jutsu in an old book in the library decided to study it for when I needed it. When Asuma visited me that afternoon I made it seem like nothing was wrong and he told me I was versing Gaara while Shikamaru was against Temari, Naruto was against Sasuke making me sigh a little.
"You focus on training Shikamaru with his father," I told him.
"What Kuroki-" Asuma started, looking ready to protest. After all, he was my sensei now.
"No offence to you or Iruka-sensei but when I train by myself I get a lot more done and I don't have to hold back because of backlash, Asuma please just let me do this" I pleaded and he sighed before agreeing. After that, since the pain was now gone, I decided to head to the Hokage's office to make a request.

"Hokage-sama I wish to have your permission to leave the village to train" I requested and he looked  at me.
"By yourself?" Sarutobi asked and I nodded.
"Yes sir" I nodded.
"I see, very well but you are to sendAsuma or Iruka or myself letters every third day so that we will know if you are okay or not" Sarutobi ordered and I nodded before bowing, taking the slip he handed me and then headed back to my apartment. I packed enough equipment, scrolls, books and also supplies before I headed to the gate and handed them the slip, getting well wishes as I left.

For the first week I spent it running and improving my speed and stamina to get to the mountains.
"It's a little harder to breathe up here but that's good once my body adjusts then I will be able to train" I said to myself. For two days while my body got use to the mountain I could only meditate and read but now it was time to train. The next week I used on ninjutsu learning more water jutsu though mostly I studied fire jutsus since the leaf village mostly had those. The week after that I spent on taijutsu. Finally the last week came and I was heading back to the village practicing my throwing skills and genjutsu while on the way back.
