The next several weeks pass by with out much event so they shall not be noted here for the sake if time.

I  sliced another of our unseen attackers from the air, wishing I knew how I managed to pull it off. Taking a being that you can't see out of the sky is all luck, and all in the interest of self preservation. Aquarius was the only one of the group who could see anything of these ghost like things, it was a good thing he could to, when these caught hold of you it was akin to swimming in water, once it had you someone else had to get them off. If you tried the thing just compensated for the new space only vulnerable to outside attacks. I caught another of the things simply by swinging my sword haphazardly through the air, nearly hitting Polaris,"Be careful with that thing!" He shouted at me.
"No,  she just saved you." Aquarius growled before jumping at another of the strange beings.
After Aquarius confirmed the area was clear Apollo started a fire while Artimes and I prepared food for the group. "So I hate to bring it up but the attacks have been getting more frequent, we need to change something."
"What is there left to change? We barley stop to rest, we constantly are on guard. What else is there?" I ask.
Artimes glanced towards Apollo,"Think very carefully about what you say next brother."
"We could..." Apollo started slowly before Artimes cut him off.
"No."
"You don't even know what I was going to suggest!"
"Maybe not but a good guess will work for this and no. We are not splitting up."
"Please listen to my reasoning." Artimes nodded curtly,"Thanks. I think that these beings are targeting us because we are such a large group. That and four of us are powerful natives to the desert, that attracts even more trouble."
"You do have good reasons, but it's probably a bad idea." Artimes replied.
"I can't cross alone." Polaris whispered,"Besides! You promised Hestia that you would help me cross!"
"He's right you know."
"Yes Aquarius I do know!"
"So I need to go it alone." I whispered.
"Kara..."
"No, I said that if the time came when we needed to split up I would be okay with it. I'll be fine, really, I've learned a bunch I should be able to make it on my own."
"I really don't like this."
"I don't like it either Artimes."Apollo whispered.
"I'll leave later today, I will help you guys with all this." I gesture to our make shift camp,"I still have plenty of supplies from when I left the village. I'll be okay." I realise that at this point
I am rambling, trying to comfort myself instead of Artimes or Aquarius or Apollo. Polaris obviously didn't much care, he was just happy to be staying in a group.
"Okay."

After everything is packed away I buckled my satchel and turn to face the beings that had helped me go places, who really were the only reason I was still alive"Thanks you guys."
Then I turn to Polaris,"No going and dieing, people still belive in you. So good luck."
After that I turn my back to them, spread my wings and launch into the sky.
