We're clawing at our skin
And destroying the world we live in
That just seems to be the way
That we live our lives today
Plastic and fake and we don't care
We're breathing in the dirty air
Deliberately poisoning ourselves
Just so we can fit in with everybody else
Drugs destroying lives
Too many drinks create a tide
Of nothingness and worthlessness
Washing over everything
I clean my glasses on my shirt
But I can't get rid of all the dirt
That I always tend to see
When I look at the world in front of me
Get your paws off of me, world
I don't need to clean up your mess right now
Get your hands off me, world
I don't need to hear complaints about how
Everything is wrong
But you just feed lies to the fire
And it grows, spreads, we're all shredded down
And I'm just tired
I put on a sweater
It's getting kinda cold
From your evil blood spreading through our veins
Into our very bones
I'm tired of your hate
All you do is discriminate
Everything is going
To have to change
We're not ourselves anymore
We are truly the most inhumane of all
We're not ourselves anymore
We are truly the worst of all the animals
Gnashing teeth and gaping jaws
Tearing through you with razor claws
We're clawing at our skin
And destroying the world we live in
That just seems to be the way
We all live our lives today
