time machine

Trampolines with holes in the nets

The zipper is stuck and I might just fall out

I jump so high, away from my fears

I try to fly, but I just crash to the ground

These are the things

I wouldn't trade for anything

And if I had a time a machine

I would stay young forever

Because life is simply better

When you're free

Staring at the birds, flying around the sky

The big vast place that is painted blue

Sun's out, rain ended two hours ago

Chasing the end of the rainbow with you

Picnics in the neighborhood park

Laying on our backs on a blanket on the ground

There's no other place I'd rather be

Then right here with you, finding pictures in the clouds

These are the things

I wouldn't trade for anything

And if I had a time a machine

I would stay young forever

Because life is simply better

When you're free
