me and this girl

we were friends since birth

and her name was Sarah Tonin

she made me smile

she was my whole world

but I don't know where she's goin

me and Sarah

ran around in the mud

and made fairy houses in the yard

she lit up my life

she was my best bud

but then my life started getting dark

Sarah, oh where did you go?

how could you leave me here?

Sarah, oh I do not know

how or why you disappeared

but now I'm alone

my mind has gone black

and I can't find the light again

she took it all with her

I hope she comes back

Sarah Tonin, my beautiful friend

I can't wait

too much longer

I wish I was just

a little bit stronger

so I could fight

stand up for myself

when she's not there for me

but still I wish her well

Sarah, oh where did you go?

how could you leave me here?

Sarah, oh I do not know

how or why you disappeared

Sarah, I miss you so bad

I don't want to leave this bed

Sarah, I miss the times we had

all I see now is black and red

I'm blind to all the good in the world

so come back and show me the way home

I'm empty without your smile and I know

that I may never come back

come back down to earth
