we're gone

Circling around and around

My ears ringing and filling with sounds

Of screaming and banging on pianos

Swirling around and around

Dominos falling down and down

Choking on my breath, I'm about to drown

There's too much going on in my head

I'm falling further and further down

I scream but I choke on my pride

Someone come free me from this never-ending tide

Waves of sound

Around and around

There's just too much

And I'm gone

You and me, we get on a plane

We'll go somewhere beautiful, we 'll fly away

From all of the things that hold us down

You and me, let's get on a plane

We float in the air until we're so high

No one can touch us, up in the sky

Head in the clouds on the weekend

You and me, floating up so high

And we're gone

Then all of sudden, the man through the speakers

Says we're experiencing some turbulence

"Story of my life," I mumble under my breath

But in the pit of my stomach, I feel nervous

Then we start heading down, we're almost there

But then we nosedive straight into the ocean

Choking on my breath, once again, about to drown

"I love you" but you can't hear me over the commotion

And we're gone
