My heads spinning at a hundred miles per hour
I can't ever slow it down
I try to explain what I'm feeling
But I just never know how
My mind's like a freight train screaming so loud
And it's going off the rails right now
Running me over, crushing my skull
Please, somebody slow it down
Merry go round
There's too much sound
Can't shut them out
Push me farther beneath the ground
I'm stuck now
Tripped over a crack in my skull
Fell down into the dark abyss
With you on my mind I try to keep going
I shoot my shot, but then I miss
You grab my hand to pull me up
But I just end up dragging you down with me
I guess we'll just be stuck down here together
At least when we die we won't be lonely
Merry go round
There's too much sound
Can't shut them out
But I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em
So when they push me too far
I'll stop adding these scars
And look deep in my heart
I'm too shallow, I won't have to look that far
I'm stuck in a pit of tar
