Antonio left a few hours later, saying he had to get back to New York.

She'd resisted the urge to ask him how on earth he could have flown to Connecticut just to find her anyway because she didn't want to go down that rabbit hole just yet. They'd spent the majority of their time together making love and since discovering that Leonardo Vargas was her father, they'd come to a silent truce not to ask much questions.
For now, it was fine, but that would have to change eventually.

It was clear that something very odd was going on between her and Antonio but she couldn't put her finger on it. They were of course insanely attracted to one another from the moment they'd met, but in a few days, it had escalated into something completely unexplainable.

He'd flown to visit her at school (how'd he'd found her was another conundrum) and she'd instantly forgiven him after he'd given some half-hearted excuse just to be with him again. She hadn't had many boyfriends and of course, only one other sexual partner but she knew she was acting out of the ordinary.
She wasn't like this as a person or as a woman, to let someone monopolise her time and energies and get so little in return.

On the other hand, it had only been a few days so what did she really expect from Antonio?

She was going to stick by her own words and just do what came naturally.
If naturally ended up with them together; she had time to find out. For right now at least, she could safely say she was having incredible sex with an insanely gorgeous man and she was going to have fun with that.

What about your father?

There in was the other complication. Antonio knew her father and that could be a problem in the long run. What if her father didn't approve of Antonio who was more his age mate than hers? She knew in her heart of hearts that her father would go ballistic if he knew one of his colleagues was sleeping with his youngest daughter but there was no reason he ever had to know.

Unless it gets serious...

"Shut up," she scolded herself as she stepped out of the shower. Her body was still tingling from Antonio's love making and it instantly brought a smile to her face. The smile disappeared however when she realised randomly that he had left with no way for her to contact him!

Getting through to him after he'd left the yacht hadn't even occurred her as she'd been so angry with him and today; she'd been so lost in making love with him that when he'd finally pried himself away from her; she'd just let him go.
Liana instantly felt like crying because she'd been so stupid but just as the irrational emotion threatened to swallow her up; her phone rang.

She walked over to it, feeling disheartened and answered without really looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Liana...its me."

She knew his voice instantly and it scared her that she was so happy to hear it,

"How did you get my number?"

"The same way I found out your address. Save this number so you can contact me...if you want to that is."

His response took her back, not just because he'd instantly taken the wind out of her sails but because of his apparent vulnerability. He wasnt sure she'd want to speak with him? Why would he think that?

"I don't expect you to put your life on hold for me Liana but I want to see you whenever I can."

"I'd like that," she said quietly. "Thank you...for not running away again." There was silence on the line for a moment before he said,
