Antonio Gregorio Sabbatini sat in his Manhattan office the following afternoon going over his coming work schedule with his assistant Tina.

Considering that he was meant to be spending the rest of the week with his friends on a yacht in the Persian Gulf; it was relatively free.

He had a few video conferences that he had planned while he was away but there was also a lunch with his parents that he couldn't miss.

"Leave everything as is," he told Tina as she tapped away at her tablet. "I'm going to spend the rest of my time off here in New York until the lunch with my family on Sunday.

"Yes sir, all the calls are fine as they are?"

"Yes, I can find somewhere to hold them when I'm ready."

"Of course. Also, Mr Fields called this morning asking about the site visit for the new development."

Antonio rolled his eyes,

"Tell David that everything is the same but I'll have the documents over to him later this evening."

David Fields was an amazing architect and a shrewd businessman but by God he was annoying. While still a workaholic, Antonio liked to work more casually if that could be the case. He was always working but working smart; rather than hard. He could afford to take time away from the firm because he worked smartly with those around him so things didn't crumble as soon as he left it to someone else.

At thirty-five years old, Antonio had achieved a considerable amount of success in his professional life. He came from a family of lawyers but was the first to establish his own firm and when he did so at twenty-five; his life had changed dramatically on many accounts.

Now, Antonio worked with developers, architects, financiers; anyone who could afford his time and fees and it provided him a very comfortable lifestyle.

He enjoyed his work, more so because it allowed him a reprieve from his personal life that was anything but relaxing.

Antonio lived and worked in New York, had done for the majority of his life although he was Italian by birth and culture. He'd gone to school in the States and it made financial sense to establish his base there once he was in the position to do so. A cultured man who enjoyed the outdoors; Antonio spoke a multitude of languages and enjoyed the fruits of his labours.

"Hold all my calls unless they're scheduled," he said to Tina. "That will be all, thank you Tina."

Tina nodded with a polite smile and left his office.

For the first time in hours, Antonio was able to stop and think.

So much had happened to him in the last few days, the most important of which was the beautiful young woman he had bedded and discarded the night before.

It had broken his heart to leave her behind but he knew he had to. Liana didn't deserve the baggage that would come from their time together. He knew, even as he thought it how selfish he had been but as he'd gone over briefly while he took a boat away from the yacht in the early hours of the morning; he couldn't have not spent the night with her.

When he saw David try to shoot his shot with her, it had made his blood boil. As extreme as that reaction was, he knew he needed to be the one to taste Liana; he'd be damned if he let David take that away from him. Her rejection of him had delighted him immensely and after that, his decision was made...even though it was the wrong one.

Antonio rose from his chair and went to look out the window of his office at Manhattan.

The colossal enclosed jungle that was Central Park was in front of him and fleetingly he marvelled at its splendour,

As splendid as Liana

She had been incredible.

He could feel her gripping his member like a vice even now but tried desperately to shake the feeling. Instead he had a mental picture of her naked breasts in front of him as he gyrated inside her.

"Stop it!" he scolded himself as he turned away from the window. As he did so, the phone rang.

He walked over to answer it,

"I thought I said to hold all my calls Tina?"

"Yes sir but...it's your wife."

The guilt and shame that registered through Antonio was debilitating as his wife's face flashed before his very eyes.

He had been married to Olivia Sabbatini nee Jamesson for almost eleven years and still he loved her with all his heart despite recent events.

"T-tell her I'm on another call...please." Antonio cursed himself for the lie. He would have to get it together before he saw Olivia or else she would know something was wrong.

"She just wanted to know if you'd be home for dinner?"

Antonio nodded before actually replying,

"Yes I will...thank you Tina."

Tina hung up and Antonio cradled the phone back into the receiver before taking a heavy sigh.

He had to tell Olivia what happened he decided.

He knew she would probably never find out but the guilt would eat him up all the same.

He clenched his hand into a fist before biting it to silence his angry growl.

Yes, he would tell Olivia tonight and clear the air at least then maybe, Olivia's disappointment in him would burn out any desire he still had deep inside; to seek out Liana.
