Chapter 7: Leo's POV

It was about a week since Raph gave me a mate marking, But he didn't remember and I was thankful for that, I didn't want to get pummeled. I was watching Space Heroes while Raph was reading a comic book, I was waiting for Donnie to call me. Since I was no longer sick, Donnie decided to physicals for the entire family. It's not that I didn't like them, but I was afraid of Raph making fun of me for something.

"Leo, your turn!" Donnie yelled and I stood up as Raph ran to the lab, practically bursting with excitement to see my flaws. I walked into the lab and Donnie gestured to his medical table which I hesitantly sat onto. "Okay, Let's get this started. Leo, can take some deep breaths as I listen for your lung capacity." I nodded and we got started. So we got finished after about ten minutes and Donnie said there was one last thing before I leave, which was checking for differences on our bodies. For this Donnie asks for us to take off our shells so he can get an exact result, pretty much I was naked and I was so glad I wore underwear that day.

"Donnie, is this really necessary?" I asked uncomfortably, well you would be do to if your crush was in the same room and almost seeing you naked.

"Yes, I need measurements of all of our family's body parts just in case something were to happen to our shells." Donnie explained and I huffed as he stood up. "Alright, the measurements are done. The last thing I need for you to do is get the weight scale." I rolled my eyes and walked onto it. "186 pounds." That's when Raph started laughing out loud.

"Oh my god, Fearless you're fat!" Raph laughed and I blushed in embarrassment before I glared, I was not fat!

"I am not! So I gained a couple of pounds, I still weigh less than you." I defended and he huffed.

"That's because muscle weighs more than fat and I have a lot of muscle baby." Raph said flexing his large, bulging hot muscle, he does have a lot of muscle. I rolled my eyes and I gave a sly smile.

"Whatever, I still weigh less Michelangelo." I stated and Donnie winced as soon as I finished, then he said.

"Actually, Mikey weighs 174 pounds Leo." My jaw dropped, I weighed more than the bottomless pit and Raph was enjoying my misery.

"Oh my god, you're a fatass!" Raph laughed and I held back my tears, I was not going to cry in front of him.

"Shut up, so Leo gained some weight. I gained weight." That's when I started laughing along with Raph and Donnie turned red. "WHAT? I did, I gained five pounds."

"So how much do you weigh?" Raph asked and Donnie sighed.

"110 pounds." We laughed harder, but that short lived as soon dinner came around. Mikey made spaghetti this time and I was about to fix my plate until Raph started talking.

"Hey Mikey, I don't think this enough. This is only enough to feed Leo." Raph joked and Mikey laughed along with him as I looked down in embarrassment and Donnie rolled his eyes.

"Michelangelo, that's not funny!" Donnie said and Mikey's laughter died out as he gulped nervously at Donnie's stare.

"Sorry, but it was kinda of funny." Mikey said and I frowned before my phone dinged. I checked it and I sadly smiled, it was Karai.

Onēsan - Meet me on the rooftops, patrols done for the night. K? Karai and I started hanging out after our last violent encounter and since then we've been friends, almost bestfriends. I texted her back.

Space boy - I'll be there in 🖐 I had to sneak out without getting caught, Raph doesn't really like her even if she is Splinter's daughter. I was going to think of an excuse until...

"Hey fatass, your dinner's getting cold." Raph said pushing the entire pot of spaghetti toward me and I got out of my chair, I walked out. I couldn't take the teasing anymore, it's bad enough I'm bigger than Mikey.

"Raph! See what you did, Leo come back!" Donnie yelled and I heard footsteps coming after me. "Where are you going?" I walked out the turnstiles.

"I'll be back by midnight, you're in charge until then." I said as I disappeared into the sewers, I thought maybe seeing Karai would make me feel better. Too bad, it made it worse.

"OH MY GOD, YOU WEIGH MORE THAN MIKEY?!" Karai laughed and I groaned as I playfully punched her arm. "Ow, you're one of those sensitive chubbies."

"Karai, it's not funny. How could I gain weight, I train more than my brothers?" I asked and she shrugged.

"Who knows, maybe the universe is telling you Raph likes thin girls and you're a chubby guy?" Karai said and I sighed, that's what it sounded like. "Speaking of Raph, does he know about...well the mate mark?" My eyes widened as I jumped at that question and she smiled sadly. "Guess that answered my question, are you ever going to tell him?" I shook my head, what's more important is my family and my team. If I tell Raph what happened, everything will be so awkward and it'll disrupt the entire team. Karai sighed and patted my back. My phone dinged and I checked it only to see a message from Donnie.

Dee-Dee 🤓: Leo, hurry home! Raph's trying to kill Mikey! I rolled my eyes and groaned, I was gone for barely two minutes.

"Karai, I gotta go. Raph's chasing after Mikey again, see ya and don't worry about the mark." I said as I started leaving, but she said one last thing before I couldn't hear her anymore.

"I hope you know what you're doing Leo." You and me both.
