the ground trembled every time he walked
the sky thundered every time he talked
even the most bravest of knights
would cower in fright at the sight of him
he was the most powerful king of his time
not because he was wealthier
or because he was stronger
or because he was any less broken than them
he was powerful because
he had understood the power of words
he had understood
that his words
weren't a few alphabets stringed together
they were much more than that
his words had the power to
break a persons heart in half
then shatter it
till it was nothing but shards of glass
and with a final push,
completely destroy it
but his words also had the power to
help the most broken of people
stitch their hearts together
convince them that they were worthy of love
heal their wounds at a touch of finger
and then,
bring the most emptiest of souls back to life
with every blessing comes a curse
though he could heal thousands
there was this one person he couldn't save
it was himself
not many remember his legacy
they all remember him by his death
rather than commemorating the fact
how a man with such immense power
chose to do good in this world
when he had equal right to evil
he truly was the most powerful king of his time

your words have so much power, use this power to inspire, to love, to make someone happy. your words have the power to break someone's heart in half, to end someone's life, to reduce someone to skin and bones.
please use this power wisely because once you've said something, there's no way you can take it back.
we all have this power but only some know how to use it :)
