my kingdom

i want to write something beautiful.

but they take the utmost pleasure in telling me that my thoughts aren't beautiful, my voice doesn't reach to their levels of excellence, my words don't touch their hearts & my stories are just a rip off of all those who came before me.

(so you can try cutting off my hands and take away my ability to write. you can take every bottle of ink i own. you can even lock me in a tower in the middle of nowhere like a stranded princess who is in desperate need for a prince)

but why would i need a prince
when i am the the king
every single thought of mine
belongs to me

it is the one thing
you can not take away from me
this is my kingdom
and i will protect it with my life

your shallow words
which are meant to bring me down
only ignite the fire
born within me to rule

you can not
take away something
i love so dearly
at the touch of a finger

it should take more than that
you can take away my sanity
but this,
this my kingdom
and i will carry it with me to my grave

thanks for that one hater who inspired me to write this, i genuinely love you.

i updated after the longest time and i feel really shitty but my exams are over (yay!) and school is finally over which will give me more time to write.
