-i hung myself
in this mess filled with thorns-

since you left, nothing grows here
no trees, no fruits and no flowers.
this damned garden hasn't
seen sunlight in years

we are cursed with eternal night
and all we long for is the sun to rise again
save me before i plunge in to its darkness
before i hang myself with a necklace of thorns
before i fall and never rise back again

-i wear a mask
so i can see you-

i am getting desperate, my love
so desperate to see you that i wear a mask
i hide away all my imperfections
cover my scars with paint
conceal my weaknesses

maybe you'll kiss the darkness away
help my flowers bloom
bring an end to this cold winter
and maybe, just maybe you'll stay

-tell me what to do they call you
where are you running of to-

you heard my cry and you came
you brought the entire sun
flowers which haven't bloomed in centuries
shot up at your presence

they warned me about you
said i should stay away from you
that you would be the death of me
but you, my love, are sweeter than honey

i want to take this foolish mask off
so you can see the broken man who called you
who begged for you every damn day
who loved you despite everything

and now you've ran away without a name
nevertheless, i'll still be waiting for you

-but i still want you-

i understand why they warned me about you
my love, you destroyed me so beautifully
i still smell the scent of roses
lingering in the air

they tell me i'm going to die soon
so bury me here, in this garden
i hope you visit my grave
i hope you feel remorse

this is my last poem
for i can no longer write
you have taken that too

it's all such a shame ,
because i still want you.
