"Someone locked us in here sorry for any trouble we caused you," I say as Cody just looks back at me confused.

"I guess it is all right, this time, but if it happens again there will be consequences."

"Yes sir, sorry sir."

"Come on Cody let's go," I say handing him his stuff and making my way to the door and me and Cody exit the room and head for the main entrance. We walk out the doors and to his car we climb in and drive in silence.

"Pull over."

"Why."

"Just do it please," he pulls to the side of the road and throws the hazards on though they are probably not needed.

"What's up?"

"Why didn't you freak out?" I ask quizzically.

"About you turning into a wolf."

"Yeah, that."

"Should I have?"

"It would be expected when your friend turns into a wolf. I didn't even know that could happen."

"I will let you in on a secret of my own."

"What?"

"I already knew."

"What do you mean you already knew how, when, what?"

"I had lied that day you fell in the woods and were knocked out, when you came into the clearing your eyes were red I noticed that first then your fangs when you talked, lastly your claws. Then everything made sense."

"Why didn't you freak out then or tell anybody and why did you lie about knowing?"

"I didn't freak because it was still you, I didn't tell anyone because one doing so could hurt you and I care about you and two you obviously don't want people to know, I lied about knowing because I could tell you didn't want me to know." I take a deep breath and take in everything he just told me then I remember what my mum said.

"Well now that I know you know I'm going to have to move again."

"What! Why?"

"Mum said if more people find out about me we will have to move because it is not safe."

"You don't have to move I won't let anybody hurt you and your mom doesn't have to know I know. I don't want you to move." he grabs my hand and intertwined our fingers as he says the last part.

"I don't want to move either."

"So don't. Don't tell, I won't"

"Okay, I won't tell mum."

"Do you mind if I ask why or how you are like this."

"Long story short before I was born My dad a scientist experimented on my mum injecting her or more me with the blood of a wolf."

"Wow. what happened to your dad."

"He was taken to a mental hospital place. I've never seen him and he has only seen me once when I was a baby."

"That is crazy."

"Yeah and the medicine I told you about I take it to help me with the full moon. And today was the first time I have ever turned into a wolf but I have had dreams where I am running then there is a wolf in my place."

"That is weird."

"Yeah, well I will have to tell my mum about that part somehow she shouldn't be home yet maybe I could figure something out," Cody starts driving again towards my house. When we get to my house he pulls into the driveway that is void of mums car before getting out I turn to him and speak.

"Thank you for not telling, and I should tell you that Bella knows as well and if you want to know more we could take a study time to talk. Maybe bring Bella too let her in on everything that has happened."

"Works for me."

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"See ya, Princess." I climb out of the car and head up to my house and walk inside. How am I supposed to tell mum without telling her about what happened with Cody? That is when an idea hits me, I can change into workout clothes and go to the room downstairs and mess a few things up and say it happened when I was working off stress and the door was stuck and my wolf freaked out, then I shifted.

And that is exactly what I did I went and changed went to the basement did what I needed to in there then waited for my mums return and when she entered I told her my made up a story which she thankfully believed. The rest of the day went as usual with me doing homework and working out a bit even though mum was skeptical about it in case I would transform.

The next morning when I woke up I had a thought so I grabbed my phone and made a group text between Cody, Bella and myself, and texted them.

A: Hey guys we need to talk at lunch

B: what about?

A: about a recent furry development

C: I thought you wanted to do it this weekend

A: Something came to mind and it can't wait

B: what do you mean a furry development?

A: I mean my other side

B: wait Cody knows now?

C: yes I know

B: what how

A: I can tell you at lunch. you guys good to meet then?

B: sure

C: of course Princess

I put my phone down and went to go get ready for school when a minute later it buzzed on my nightstand it was a text from Bella.

B: Okay I know you said lunch but this might be something you don't want to address in front of Cody.

A: What?

B: well I know that you care for him in a special way even if you won't admit it

A: just get on with it I have to get ready for school

B: I was just wondering if him knowing means you two are you know an Item, together, a thing.

A: wait you think-- why would-- no we are just friends

B: then why/ how does he know?

A: it is a long story one that we can discuss at lunch unless you would like to bring up another point from my love life if you could even call it that.

B: Fine lunch but we are not done with this Cody thing.

A: whatever see you at school

I out my phone down and continued to get ready to face the day and everything it threw my way.
