We sat in silence for a moment and enjoyed the simplicity of sitting there and then someone came up to me and Rickey. It was a petite woman in a suit with thin glasses and a harsh face.

"Richard Daniels." She said looking down on us. "Wicked Witch Of The West." Rickey responded with intense seriousness in his voice and face. She smiled devilishly and continued speaking," You are being pulled from this hospital and being placed into your original home. Your mother is waiting to see you."

"Tell her I said to have fun on her trip back to her house, alone. I don't want anything to do with Queen Pain in The Neck." I held back my laugh as I listened to Rickey say something mean for the first time. He was good at it.

"Now Richard, is that anyway you speak to adults? Show some respect." The voice was softer and coming from a women walking towards us.

"Mother. I show respect to those who deserve it. Now leave before I have security drag you out of here." The lady seemed hurt and took two steps back. But after that she walked even closer.

"Now Richard-" Rickey butted in before she could finish. "Ya know it's bad enough that I can read your mind and hear your annoying, good-for-nothing thoughts so save me the time and suffering and shut your mouth." His mom opened her mouth to speak again but Rickey, once again, filled in the words.

"I know. I know. Your my mom and I need to show you the respect that is required and just stop being a fussy child and come home but honestly, if I wanted to go with you, I would.  Get the picture?" He smiled at her and shooed her away with the flick of a wrist.

She straightened her blouse and pencil skirt then stomped away in her red heels. "Dear Jesus, you have some fight in you." I said.

He didn't smile at my comment nor did he reply. His eyes got distant. "Sorry, Kay. She is coming back now with a guard who will haul me away if I refuse."

"What!"I said baffled," You can't leave. I need you here, I need you to help me figure out this whole Project Intelligence thing. Don't leave." Tears were uncontrollably developing in my wide eyes.

"I am truly sorry. But I will come back. I promise I will." He smiled at me and then got up and walked away.

I stood up and yelled,"NO!" Rickey turned in surprise. I threw my hand up and the whole world stopped.

Pain shot through me and locked my every muscle but I kept my hand up and nothing moved.

I thought, Help, Rickey. He began to move freely but time had stopped entirely. "Holy crap, Kay. What did you do?!" Rickey said looking shocked.

I winced in pain but spoke," I was really hoping you would have that answer." He giggled and knelt beside me. I hadn't noticed, but the pain had brought me to my knees.

I put my hand down but focused on keeping the time still. It worked but hurt like all get out.

"Don't you dare leave me now." I said standing. "I don't care what Queen Pain In Neck has to say, you are staying here. Now, we are going to control them and make them change their minds." I demanded.

Rickey walked over to his frozen mother and touched her forehead with his right index finger. He did the same for every one else in the situation.

"What did you do?" I asked when he returned by my side. " Oh yeah, that reminds me." He walked back over and took the woman's papers and put them in his room. He walked back over to me with a look of accomplishment.

"Done. I wiped their memories and took the file. They will forget and go home now." He said casually.

I unfroze time somehow. To be honest, I don't know how I did it, everything just went back to normal after Rickey got done speaking.
