I became aware of his deepest emotions. Everything from fear, love, pride and dark desires. I felt each thing that he felt. But I also felt all of the fear inside of me. I was scared for Damian just then. Unprepared for what I was about to do but I did anyway.

I rose from my seat and without even giving the idea a second thought, I froze each mind in the room, except Levi. So as each mind halted, I was theoretically left in the room alone with Levi.

"Why?" I snapped.

"Why what?"

"You know what!"

"Nope, actually I have no idea." The way he spat out the word no was atrocious. It made me cringe. "Tell your...." Levi's voice trailed off as his eyes turned towards his frozen brother. I laughed mockingly.

"What? Tell his girlfriend to watch herself? That's what you were going to say right!?!"

Levi froze,"Umm..."

"What Levi? Scared of a little girl? Because you know that I can feel your fear. You do know that am in each mind in this room, keeping them frozen? And I have already read your mind, and know thing about every one in this room. Well, except Damian," I admitted.

"You don't scare me," he said firmly. "Really," I began," because your mind begs to differ. Because you are shaking, heart rate is elevated, you are thinking about all you have done in your life..." I stopped. And then without control, I laughed.

"Wait wait wait," I laughed," you think I, me, Katrina O'Conners, am going to kill you. Well first off, if I could kill some one, it surely wouldn't be you and I wouldn't even waste me life dealing with killing you." Levi seemed to ease but still was tense with fear.

"You can't kill him," I whispered, eyes locked to the ground. "What are you talking about?" Levi said arrogantly. I was done talking. I was done dealing with everything so I did the only thing I knew to do.

My mind was becoming weak and I felt that I couldn't hold on much longer so I called on Rickey. He was quick to come back reluctant to look me in the eyes. I asked him to keep everything frozen and he did. But still he wouldn't look at me.

I walked over to Levi, anger blazing in my eyes. "If you think that I am stupid you are so wrong. I hear your thoughts, I feel your emotions, and I know everything about you. I know about the gun that is stashed on you because," I reach around the back of him and pulled out the gun.

"Because the gun that is in my hands happens to be the gun you we're going to kill yourself with as well your brother with. Now how in the hell can you argue with the tangible evidence that rests in my palm?" I was furious now, and I was growing impatient.

"I won't argue but I will say that your little trick is quite impressive," Levi gave off a cocky smirk. "You want proof?" I dared. He replied with a simple nod. I was prepared to defend myself but someone walked in before I could begin.

Now think for a minute. You walk into a conference room on the visiting floor of a mental hospital and find two patients, frozen people, and one visitor with a patient holding a loaded gun in front of him. How would you respond?

But reacting wasn't anything I could do because before I could speak....

A gun shot went off.
