"Is this your son, Mrs Farringway?" the police officer asked, earning a tearful nod from Mrs Farringway. Her boy, her baby, her only son, was dead.
"Y-yes. Yes, that's him," she confirmed. "Oh God, my sweet boy. Who did this to you?"
"We're doing everything in our power to find who did this to your son and Mr Phelps. I'm deeply sorry for your loss, Mr and Mrs Farringway."
"T-thank you." Mrs Farringway returned, bursting into tears when her husband put his arms around her. The two walked out of the room, the police offer questioning them lowering his head and looking at the body of White Rabbit from the corner of his left eye. There was almost nothing left of his body, charred skin and bones, yet his mother had been able to identify him within moments.
Guess the thing they say about mother's intuition is right after all.
He waited patiently for Mr and Mrs Phelp to come and identify their son. He'd done this job so many times over the years that in a way, it was normal. He handled devastated relatives all the time.

"I just...can't believe they're dead. I..." Tadashi said to himself, holding his head in his hands. "They're dead and...I should have just accepted their offer to help, then this wouldn't have happened. It's...it's my fault this happened. I scared them away and now they're gone."
Mad Hatter...I know you were behind this, and you're gonna pay. You're gonna pay for trying to kill Evie, you're gonna pay for everything you've ever done. Evie, she was...too scared to go to the police because of her. Makes me wonder just how many people she's killed.
"They were looking for her, to try to talk some sense into her, and she...who does something like that? She got rid of the evidence by burning their bodies, talk about messed up."
Danika sat next to her adoptive brother, sadness in her eyes. She took his hand, looking at him reassuringly despite her own feelings.
"The police will find who did this." she said, softness in her voice. "I know you wanna blame that Mad Hatter girl and all, but you can't jump to conclusions all the time. What happened to them was tragic, yeah, but for all we know it could have been someone else."
"It was her, Dani, I can feel it." Tadashi spoke, determined his theory was right. "Who else would have anything against them? My guess, they probably found were she was hiding out and went to talk with her, she got suspicious and then that's when she killed them and disposed of the bodies. She obviously didn't dispose of them well enough, because the police found them."
Danika went cold just thinking about it, removing her hand from Tadashi's and staring down at her palms. "Then again, I suppose we're no better. We've both done bad things before."
Tadashi's heart stopped. Did...did Danika know about what he had done all those years ago?
"I know you beat that doctor to death, Tadashi." she confirmed Tadashi's worst fears. "You just...you snapped. I saw how angry you were the day we escaped, you were so angry that I didn't think you'd ever snap out of it. I was younger then, yeah, but I was old enough to understand what was happening."
B-but it wasn't me...it was Sunny! He made me do it! He made me lose control...
Tadashi took in a deep breath. "How long have you known about that?"
