Hardships
-The Next Day-
"Hey! HEY! Break it up, you two! Break it up! Just what the heck is going on?" Morley asked, nearly out of breath from having to hold two fighting students back so that they wouldn't end up killing each other.
"I was just showing this douche here what happens when you get on the wrong side of me." one student, wearing glasses with a crack on one of the lenses said. "I've put up with your shtick for long enough, Lee! You're not gonna keep pushing me around!"
"Pushing you around?" Lee said, his eyebrows narrowing as the frustration was beginning to set in. "What about me?! You're the one who's been doing all the pushing, not me!"
"Only because you've been blackmailing me and forcing me to stay quiet! I think I deserve a little payback, don't you think?"
"Alright, alright that's enough. Lee, go to the principal's office." Morley said, he didn't like it when fights took place, they never resolved anything other than causing the individuals who were brawling pain. "Everyone, get to your lessons. As for you, Owen, i'd like to talk with you in my office. Follow me."
Morley placed his hands in his lab coat pockets. The lab coat itself wasn't anything big, he didn't do any kind of chemical science or anything that involved actual science- it was merely to keep him warm in the tech room, it was freezing in there ever since the heater had broken, and it wasn't like the air conditioning was working that well either. Geez, he really needed to fix that (or get someone to fix it), maintaining a school with only two figures of authority of hard work, especially when they themselves were really, only young (young in modern standards at least).
Man, it sure was hard being the school's top technician, not to mention vice principal.

"Wow, that's gonna stress me out all day." Abigail sighed, her headache causing her to feel like she'd been hit with a brick. "I knew I should have taken the day off, I don't feel so good. But hey, I guess i've just gotta get on with it, that's what we Callaghan's do, am I right?"
"Yeah but, if you're sick then you should go home and get some rest. Abby- hey, Abby? Come on, honey, don't fall asleep. It's not gonna be very comfortable taking a nap on your desk." Morley said, his tone soft as he gently shook his cousin's shoulder. He hated seeing her so tired and almost helpless to do anything on her own, it wasn't like her at all. She was usually so cheerful and always had a smile on her face, but because of her current state, he understood why she felt the way she did.
"I'm fine, Morls. Really...I...I just need a coffee or somethin'..."
"Coffee? While you're like this? Sorry, Abby, but you're having something cold to drink. Stay right here, i'll be back in a minute."
"Okie dokie..." Abigail yawned, resting her head on her desk. Before she knew it, she was out like a light, snoring.
Morley closed the office door, trying his best to be as quiet as possible.
"She's not doing so good, huh?" Tadashi asked, he'd notice that Abigail wasn't her usual self just like Morley had.
"'Dash?" Morley asked, but the realisation hit him. You're supposed to be in- nevermind, I keep forgetting you're allowed to be excused if the...you know, problems start kicking in. I was just about to get Abby something to drink, you wanna come with me?"
"I might as well," Tadashi answered, shrugging his shoulders. "I've got nothing else better to do."
"Fair enough. Hey, don't say anything to any of the others, but I think that teacher who teaches you for engineering is hot."
