"I-Itachi? What are you doing here?" you asked, taken aback with him here with his sharingan activated. He was silent, staring at you hard. You stared back at him with your wide eyes, wondering why on earth he was here. He stepped close to you, but you made sure you were ready if he tried anything.

"What are you doing here?" you asked again, more forcefully. If it wasn't for his sharingan being activated then you wouldn't have mind him being here but right now...you didn't trust him. He stopped about 2 feet from you and said in a dark tone,

"All in the Uchiha clan is dead...."

You squinted at him, trying to process what he just said.

"...what?..." you say softly.

"The Uchiha clan is dead..." he said in the exact same tone as before.

"Wha-WHAT?!" you gasped in shock, covering your mouth with your hand. It took a few minutes for the shock to finally settle down into angst. What he just said finally processed into your head. That's why he was here, to tell you what had happened.

'All of those people...dead?' you thought to yourself,"Oh...my...god...Itachi! Who did this? Why aren't you after them? Are you sure there aren't any survivors?" You were panicked, he must have been playing a trick on you. But that look in his eyes...you knew he was serious. Your lips were trembling as you felt tears rise up quickly. He stepped up closer to you and you felt your hands just grab him as you sobbed into his chest. You felt his hand on your shoulder, as first in a comforting way, and then he pulled you away lightly so you could look up at him with your tear stained face. His face and eyes were still cold and hard, and you saw a glimmer in them that you didn't like.

"...I killed them..."

"......what....."

You felt your jaw drop in shock and surprise. You brain tried to process this information, but it wasn't connecting. You started shaking your head, slowly stepping back, both of your eyes locked into his. He stepped closer to you, but every time he stepped closer, you stepped back until finally you were pinned against the wall. He gently put a finger under your chin, lifting your head up to look at him directly. You were shaking with fear, but you tried to hide it as much as possible; you did not want him to know you were scared. He leaned in close so you got a better shot of his eyes. He examined your tear-stained face and said softly,

"I left Sasuke alive...I want him to live out his wretched life, hating me and trying to kill me."

".....why would you do that...why are you here....?" you asked, trying to stop your voice from shaking.

"To ask you...to come with me..." he said with no emotion on his face.

"Go with you?....where?" you asked, trying to calm down.

"To an organization I found out about...we'll be among people who have power like us...there will be no limits to what we will be able to do. That's why I asked you before if I did anything if you would still care about me...this is your answer...if you care about me you will come with me," he said while looking deep into your eyes. You stared back at him, feeling your eyes tear up again. You started shaking your head.

"No...I'm not going with you. I care about you, but I don't want to go the same path," you said, looking down. You could see his eyes grow dark as he let go of your chin and stepped back towards the window.

"...I know you will eventually change your mind...we'll meet again someday," he said cooly before disappearing out of sight.

You stood in your dark living room, looking at the window that Itachi disappeared out of. Suddenly it clicked in your head - SASUKE! You burst through your door, stumbling down the stairs and racing towards the Uchiha Clan's area. You've never ran so fast in your whole life. You ignored the burning fire in your chest from crying and the lack of oxygen going in your lungs. You turned a sharp corner, slid slightly and scrapped your knee. You hissed in pain but kept running. You were horrified as you ran over the dead bodies that lay underneath your feet. And there, in the middle of the street, laid a young boy, face down...he wasn't moving.
