Chapter 8: Rescue! Wait... You're not Sasuke

"W-who are?" you asked, your arms still covering your chest as you stared wide eyed at the very white man who stood before. He had long black hair, snak-like eyes, and you noticed his arms were bandaged up.

"Relax ______, I won't harm you..." he said softly, an evil smirk developing itself on his face. You shivered and stepped back a little more, your eyes never leaving his.

"Who are you and why did you kidnap me?" you asked, finally getting a grip of yourself and letting your hands drop to your sides, glaring at the snake-like man in front of you. The man just chuckled and stepped forward toward you.

"I am Orochimaru...one of the legendary Sanin," he said, smirking at you. Your eyes widened, knowing exactly who the Sanin were. In other words, this guy was very powerful, "And, really ______, I didn't kidnap you. I just took you away from your kidnappers," he said, a sickly smile now replaced his smirk. You just glared at him, holding your ground.

'How does this guy know my name?' you thought, your eyes still examining him. As if reading your mind, he spoke suddenly,

"I have been watching you for a while now...and I know Sasuke Uchiha has a high connection with you," said the man, his voice coming out in almost a whisper. You shivered, looking away from his snake-like eyes and said,

"So what? What does it matter to you?" The man chuckled at this, sending cold chills down your spine.

"It will make him come here to rescue you...then I can have his body..." said the man, his evil smirk showing through the dim lights. Your eyes widened at this news.

'Sasuke...he's the only one who would try to save me...I mean, no one else would...damn it...' you thought to yourself, looking back at the eerie man.

"I have already marked him, so his body is as good as mine," said Orochimaru, chuckling lightly. You blinked and then remember that mark on the back of Sasuke's neck that he got during the Chuunin exams.

"That...that was you?" you asked, unable to get the words out. Orochimaru just gave you a look that told you that you got it right. You stepped back but found a solid thing behind you. You turned your head around and saw Kabuto smirking down at you. You were about to step away from him when he grabbed your arms from behind.

You glared at him through the corner of your eye when suddenly you felt something wet go under your chin and forced your head around to look back at Orochimaru. Chilling shivers went down your spine as you saw that it was Orochimaru's tongue that had moved your head. His tongue was very long and snake like. He put it back in his mouth, that usualy smirk back on his face.

"Kabuto...take her to her room...make sure she's...comfortable..." he said the last word with a sly tone of voice. You looked at him curiously when suddenly you felt a cloth go over your eyes, blacking your eye sight.

"What the hell?!" you exclaimed, trying to take off the cloth but Kabuto grabbed your hands and pinned them behind your back. He pushed your forward and you just let your feet move.

"We can't be having you see exactly where you are..." Kabuto whispered in your ear. You frowned as he continued to take you down what seemed to be a hall. He made you stop and you heard a door open and he shoved you inside. You heard the door close and the cloth was removed from your eyes. You blinked and looked around, noticing that you were now in a smaller bedroom with a simple bed.

"If you try to escape...you will pay dearly," said Kabuto from behind you. You blinked and turned to look at him. He stared at you for a moment before opening the door, closing it behind him, and locking it from the outside.
