You stood in front of the huge, old oak doors once again. Your arms were limp by your sides. You had a map clutched in your right hand. You looked up into the woman's scary green eyes.
"Now remember, head east from here and don't stop until you've reached the place I spoke to you about," said the woman, pointing her long boney finger to where you needed to go. You turned your head to look the direction and nodded. You bowed to her polietly and walked away. Her voice suddenly rang out behind you,
"Make sure you follow your heart with that young man, child!" You blushed slightly and just put a hand up in response. You continued walking, looking up into the forest where you would have to continue walking. You looked up at the clouds and saw they were grey. You sighed and put your Akatsuki hat on to make sure you didn't get wet.
Your mind was still racing on the thought of Itachi. Ever since he had kissed you the first time you had actually felt a glimpse of the old feelings that you had before. It was strange to have those feelings return, especially with how much he had changed. You looked down at your feet as they seemed to move by themselves. Did you like Itachi again? You couldn't hide the fact that there was some attraction there again, but did you actually care for him?
You shook your head and closed your eyes. No...you couldn't...not again. He had hurt you so badly when he had left the first time. You couldn't let yourself fall for that again. But at the same time, you felt longing in your heart.
You hated to admit it, but you actually enjoyed being around Itachi when it was just you and him. He would lighten up, even if it was only a little bit. You sighed and opened your eyes once again. With how many times he had saved you...it made you wonder if he was just as confused about his feelings as you were.
With all of these thoughts in your head, you continued to walk on.
To the Ancient Grounds of the Priests
Itachi walked into a dark cave slowly and cuatiously. There were torches lit on the walls to have some luminosity, but other wise it was pretty much pitch black. His sharingan eyes scanned the cave, looking for any signs for you. He was pretty sure he was going to have to end up killing these men and finding you. He felt one of the men release the chakra cuffs on his hands and he let his arms fall back down to his sides.
Yukio, as Itachi learned the captain's name to be, stepped ahead of him. He stayed still, looking into the dark abbys of the cave.
"Bring out the girl!" he shouted. Itachi stared after him, waiting to see you. He suddenly heard grunts and the sound of people struggling. He saw three figures coming towards them, two holding the middle figure.
"Let go of me!" he heard your voice shout. His eyes narrowed as he could finally see you. Your clothes were torn and there were blood coming out of cuts here and there on your legs and arms. Your hair was slightly messy and your eyes looked dewildered. Two men were holding you by the upper arm. When they got near enough they pushed your forward so you fell on the ground. You groaned in pain as you lay on the floor, your face near the cold ground.
"Get up, you brat," said Yukio, glaring down at you,"Look I have brought..."
You slowly lifted up your head, your (color) eyes looking dull as you looked up into Itachi's eyes. His eyes narrowed more as he looked into yours.
"I...Itachi!" you cried and you jumped to your feet. You ran up to him and embraced him tightly. Itachi stood still, a shadow covering his eyes as he frowned slightly.
"Oh Itachi...I thought you had forgotten about me!" you said, looking up at him and smiling thankfully. Itachi just stared back down at you with an emotionless face. You seemed to realize this and then frowned.
