Chapter 14: Memories of Affection; Kyo you're my Date!

You laid in your bed silently, breathing gently as you slumbered peacefully. Your subconcious mind was glad that you weren't having any bad dreams this night. But, even in your sleep, your guilt was still burning inside of you. You sighed sleepily and rolled over. You felt something lay next to you and instantly you opened your eyes. Sasuke lay next to you, his eyes closed as he laid on his back. He didn't stir so you assumed he was actually asleep. You propped yourself up on one elbow, your (color) hair slightly messy. You looked down at him then glanced at the clock next to him and saw it was about 3 in the morning.

You rubbed your eyes with one hand before looking back down at him. You sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, gently shaking him. Sasuke's eyes instantly opened and he looked straight into your (color) ones.

"Sasuke...what are you doing in here?" you asked, your voice sounding groggy. Sasuke remained silent, just continuing to look up at you.

'He looks like he's been thinking a lot,' you thought to yourself as you looked back down at him.

"_____...what will you feel like when I finally succeed in my revenge and kill Itachi?" he suddenly asked, making you raise an eyebrow. You hadn't really thought about it before.

"Well...I really don't know. Does it really matter?" you asked him, your eyebrow still raised.

"I know you had feelings for him in the past...and when you were kidnapped by him...I was worried that..." Sasuke trailed off again, looking away from you.

"That...what?" you asked, your tiredness vanishing now.

"That...you would get feelings for him again...." whispered Sasuke, still not looking at you. You blinked as you felt a light tint of pink appear on your cheeks. Had you gotten feelings for Itachi again? No...no way. It wasn't possible. Then your mind remembered what Itachi said in the alley to the man who had attacked you.

"Never...touch...what's mine..."

What could he have possibly meant by that? You shook your head to get those thoughts out of your mind and gently ran your fingers through a couple of Sasuke's spikes.

"Don't worry Sasuke...those feelings are long gone and buried," you said, giving him a reassuring smile. Sasuke looked up at you with his ebony eyes and you saw a faint smirk appear on his face.

"So, are you going back to your bed now?" you asked, suddenly getting tired again. Sasuke didn't answer, he just stared at you. You knew what he wanted.

"Oh...alright...you can stay in here for tonight," you said, laying back down and closing your eyes. You heard Sasuke move around to get comfortable and you both fell asleep.

*~*~*~*~ At the Ramen Shop ~*~*~*~*~

Naruto sat on the chair with an empty ramen bowl in front of him. He had his elbow on the counter in front of him, his chin in the palm of his hand. He was waiting for you to arrive for about half an hour now. He was assuming you got either busy or you just didn't care about trying to help him get close to Sakura. He sighed and was about to get up to leave when suddenly there was a voice behind him.

"Hey Naruto, sorry I'm late," you said, walking over to him while waving. Naruto turned around, clearly irritated. You continued to grin at him before saying, "So, let's go to your house so we can get you ready."

"Ready? You mean you already have the thing set up?" Naruto asked, tilting his head to the side while staring at you. You just shrugged and looked to the side slyly.

"I gave her a note and told her to do as it said, but we still need to get your personality right if you want more dates to come after that," you said, looking back at Naruto. Naruto's face lit up and you knew he was excited. He suddenly grabbed your hand and headed off towards his home, making you run to keep your arm connected to your body. You looked behind you, suddenly feeling watched and saw that same man with the short brown hair. You looked at him curiously before he was completely lost from your sight.
