"Why did you want me to grab her? What use is she to us?"
"Do not question my methods Kisame...I know what I'm doing..."
"Explain to me then."
"All in good time."
You could hear the voices, but you thought they were just part of your dream. They seemed to vague that you were a little shocked when you slowly came back to conciousness. Your head gave a painful throb, making it hard for you to open your eyes at first. As your eyelids finally started to open, your vision was blurry. All you knew was that it was dark out, seeing is that you had no light blinding you. Your head throbbed again but when you tried to grab it, your hands wouldn't move. You wiggled your wrists a little bit and realized that your hands were tied.
"Well well well...look who's awake," said a man's voice. The memories of what had happened before was slowly seeping back into your head as your vision began to clear. You looked up slowly and saw the shark man and Itachi staring down at you. The shark man was smirking down at you, his sharp teeth showing. Itachi stared at you with an emotionless face, his red sharingan seeming be the only thing truly visiable in the darkness. You slowly pulled yourself up to a sitting position, looking back at the men. You were a little lost and confused.
'Wasn't I just at that inn?' you asked yourself, looking from the shark man to Itachi.
"Why did you kidnap me?" you asked them, as if asking your friends a casual question. Kisame's grin seemed to faulter as he glanced over at Itachi. Itachi didn't make any notion to him or said anything, he just continued to look at you. Kisame looked back at you and said,
"Don't ask questions, girl. You will do what we say, got it?" he grabbed the handle of his sword, as if daring you to say anything. You blinked up at him, and then sighed. You didn't have the energy to start an argument, so you just looked down at the ground, not saying a word to either of them. There was a few moments of silence when a voice spoke,
"Kisame...untie her hands...I'm going to take her for a walk," said Itachi softly. Kisame turned to look at Itachi like he was crazy, but Itachi just glared at Kisame through the corner of his eye. Kisame looked at you, looked at Itachi again, then walked over to you. He went behind you and you could feel him pulling the rope off of your wrists. You felt the blood rush back into your hands as you stood up, rubbing your wrists.
You didn't try to run, knowing very well that they could have easily caught you if you tried. You would just have to wait for another opportunity. You looked at Itachi and saw that he was very close to you now. He grabbed your arm roughly and shoved you ahead of him while he walked behind you. You growled to yourself, your teeth clenched. You couldn't believe how much he had changed. It wasn't even him anymore. You two walked into the trees, walking near a clearing. You could tell he was watching you carefully with his sharingan; you could feel his eyes burn into your back. You ignored it and continued walking forward, still rubbing your bruised wrists.
You could see the trees becoming thinner and starting to let some moonlight through them. As you stepped out, you looked up at the sky. Normally you would have enjoyed the night sky, but not with the situation you were in at the moment. You stopped in the middle of the clearing, and turned around to face Itachi, your arms folded across your chest.
"What do you want with me, Uchiha?" you asked, venom dripping from your voice as you glared back at the bloody red eyes. You saw Itachi's eyes darken at the sound of your tone, but you ignored it. You don't care how ruthless or powerful he had become, you were NOT going to let him push you around.
"Do not speak to me like that, if you wish to keep your life," he said back, his voice filled with danger. You let your arms drop to your sides, still glaring at him.
